Awesome socket organizer but NOT for the OCD person
I bought this socket organizer because I liked the ease of access and clear visual markings on it. I desperately needed a organizer to get my newly purchased toolbox under control. I am a weekend/diy mechanic but needed to get organized as I would always spend most of my time looking for tools in random boxes instead of working on my car. Upon arrival of the organizer, I was shocked at just how many sockets I was missing. It was driving me absolutely crazy looking at the incomplete set and empty pegs. Turns out all of my socket rails had several skips and it would cost a small fortune to buy the missing sockets individually. Luckily, I found a company called olsa tools and they sell affordable full socket rails without skips. They also sell a complete set to fill the entire organizer. Every individual rail they sell has every socket size to fill each line of pegs in the organizer. It sucks that I had to drop several hundred dollars replacing the sockets I already had but it is so satisfying to open my socket drawer and see this organizer full. One thing to mention is 2 or the largest olsa 1/2 deep drive SAE sockets would not fit on the pegs. Easy fix with a little sandpaper on the pegs of the organizer and it slid right on. One additional suggestion I would make would be that I wish the plastic was a bit thicker on the base. My toolbox stays in one place and sometimes I like to grab the whole tray and move it to where I'm working. It has a tendency to bow in the middle on the 3/8 and 1/2 drive because of the weight. Overall, I love this organizer even though it costed me wayyy more than anticipated. Be warned, not for OCD people. 10/10 would recommend.

Great for the price
I ordered these without reading or really paying attention to the pictures but those 1/2 rails aren't the same length. Kinda bother some but besides that they look freakin great and have yet to break or anything. Update, Ive had these for a couple months now and the only complaint is that a little bit ago I was using brake clean on one of my tools to clean them up and accidentally oversprayed a little on the rails and it discolored them pretty badly. But then again these are made to hold tools. Tools are made to be use... if you use them enough they are bound to get dirty or a bit messed up. For the idiots who say they dont fit on the rails, for god sakes you idiots are supposed to put the sockets upside down as in the hex part, or the part that goes on the bolt downwards. They show them on the picture, I've tested every socket I have, gearwrench, duralast, matco, snap on, tekton, oem tools, sunex, craftsman(new & old) and they all fit... upside down. Yes I will agree with some people that the pegs are too thick for some of the 1/4 sockets. But being we have sockets and we want socket holders also usually implies we have drills.... just drill out the socket a tiny bit and problem solved. For the price and the fact that I haven't broke any peg even after dropping my impact guns on the pegs, I would recommend them.

Decent for the home garage.
Decent set. To bad the smaller end doesn’t actually fit sockets and the big end doesn’t go big enough

Perfect!
Great product. Works perfect! Better then expected. Note, those other comments about sockets not working, didn't realize the size difference, bla blah blah, hahahaha. It's called common sense. You know the sockets dictate everything? These trays work for chrome and impact sockets. Refer to my photo. Enjoy

Does it's job, keeps things organized
I ordered these after striking out at all hardware stores in my area , I did experience fitment issues but only with 3 sockets for the 1/4 and that was only due to the design of the sockets themselves, anyone with patience and a little Dremel experience can make these work. Overall I'm happy with the purchase the cost is cheaper than other options where you have to buy sae and metric seperate, even after shaving away plastic to make certain sockets fit I don't feel they will break under normal use. I found this product to be a very useful when it comes to organization, keeps sockets in their place and in order and helps with figuring out what you're missing to complete your socket sets.

Correct spaces will not fit several sockets.
Starting with a clean slate after a devastating tornado, I bought a huge Quinn 428pc “master tech” tool set to build off of. At first I thought it was ideal that the tools came in plastic bags since I was filling out a new tool cart and didn’t need a bunch of blow-molded cases, but at least most cases can be turned into trays for a tool drawer. I badly needed organizers but I quickly realized that I could spend as much organizing sockets and wrenches as I did on the tools themselves. Hesitant to spend much on socket organizers, I tried cheap socket rails instead. What a nightmare! Next, I found a good deal on a bunch of magnetic socket organizers (flea market find) but they ended up being a huge waste of space with no good way to fit the cart. I gave up on the tool cart and upgraded to a 61” workbench tool chest but it was still hard to fit/arrange all my magnetic organizers… and they were still a waste of space. Finally, I broke down and got the knock-off U.S. General version of these plastic peg-style organizers… only to find that I could get the real OEM Tools brand for significantly less on Amazon. This gave me the opportunity to compare before returning the knock-offs to Harbor Freight. While waiting for the OEM Tools organizers I went ahead and loaded up the US General trays and found that a few sockets don’t fit well. The hole through the socket is simply smaller than the peg, though the tapered shape of the peg allows some to seat half way. Yes, I am installing them correctly, hex side down, which might not be obvious. Now, I saw similar complaints in the OEM brand Amazon reviews so I didn’t expect them to eliminate or improve fitment issues. I started moving the 1/4” drive SAE sockets because one socket (9/16” deep well) didn’t fit the USGeneral… but it fits the OEM even worse since the socket sits higher off the peg. Two more no longer fit at all (3/16” deep and 7/32” deep). I see where some people drill out their sockets but I think I’d much rather file the plastic peg. The OEM pegs are simply bigger than they are for the same size on the USGen organizer tray. Obviously, you can only make the peg diameter so small before they are too thin and fragile. It seems USGen fits more sockets, perhaps sacrificing a bit of durability. OEM’s 3/4” drive SAE tray fit all the same sockets as the USGen did but the two that didn’t fit either sit slightly better (lower) on the USGen. The 1/2” drive SAE sockets all transferred over with no additional fitment issues. My only issue with the metric stuff was 3/4” drive where two of the sockets only fit USGen (10mm deep and 12mm deep). The space savings over my magnetic organizers is tremendous. The cost saving over US General is enough that I can tolerate a few more sockets that don’t fit. Knowing that I would’ve just 3D printed something before the tornado ruined my workshop made spending the money on plastic a tough pill to swallow… but the first step to getting the workshop going again is tooling up. Maybe now I can get some 3D printers rolling again. Another difference: US General trays are slightly longer than the OEM Tools trays.

ALMOST no fitment issues with CRAFTSMAN sockets.
I'm writing this because I seen there was a lot of reviews saying there was a ton of fitment issues. If you have craftsman sockets and you're having a lot of fitment issues you might have gotten one that's defective (all trays probably have some type of percent error, some more and other less). All of my craftsman sockets fit perfectly besides 2. The 7mm peg 1/4's was a little too wide. I sanded the peg with some sand paper until it cleared. The other peg I had an issue with was the ¼, 3/8's. I probably won't use it much, so I swapped the 6mm and ¼, 3/8's sockets. Wasn't a big deal for me since those sockets are the smallest Metric and SAE, and would be easy to locate if I needed them. To have the socket sit completely flush to the bottom the sockets have to be upside down. I didn't bother me, so I kept them upright, and they still look great as you can judge by the pictures. I had 0 spacing issues. If you want a cheaper alternative HF trays work great, and no issues. These look 10x better in my opinion and cheaper then the other green/black sets online. I hope this helps.

Red/Gray version - great for toolbox organization
After looking at item details, I chose the red (SAE) and gray (metric) for two reasons: 1) Loved the idea of a crazy orange, but wanted the wild color to represent metric, not SAE. Used to Red = SAE, preferred Gray = metric to black. 2) Dimensions shown were slightly larger for the red/gray version - believe this was primarily for SAE. Like the center-post label; these are replacing a set of Pittsburgh socket organizers that had a center divider. These are easier to access and can read the size from the top. Additional bonus - at the time I bought them they cost LESS than HF's similar red/black organizers did on sale. Seem well made, and the 1/2" organizers were big enough for my Pittsburgh Pro impact sockets. Have chrome in the 1/4" and 3/8" organizers and black impact in the 1/2". A couple of my smallest 1/4" sockets had holes smaller than the posts and wouldn't drop down all the way; may file those posts down but overall these work well.
