I'm a dental hygienist and recommend these brushes all of the time for their quality and essential of use. **Q: Are the wires holding the brushes on more sturdy than the extra soft variety? I bought the short extra soft version, and the little brushes crushed up** A: Not sure as I have never used the extra soft ones. These tend to hold up well for several uses. I have purchased these multiple times. **Q: How do I choose between the fat short brush and long-handled Tepe?** A: You are able to reach further back in your mouth and have better control with the long-handled Tepe, which is the one my hygienist recommended. I did try the short brush initially, but prefer the long-handled one.
