Most Chinese tools are a use once and throw away. But I must say! This worked like a charm and showed no signs of fatigue or failure!! I used it to pull crankshaft bearings from jet ski! WORKED GREAT!

This worked to remove the badly stuck blind bearings in my mid-90s Class tedder angle drives, when nothing else could. I was able to remove one of the stuck bearings by inserting an air hammer through the filler port of the gear box and driving it off at an angle, but none of the other ones would move and an external puller couldn't grab them. I punished my pride for nearly a week trying get those 5 remaining bearings out and eventually gave in and purchased this internal race puller. Should have done it sooner. The wedge/hooks in this kit are indredibly hard and strong and bit into the races after destroying the sheilds and cage as instructed. All 5 rusty, stuck, blind bearings came out with minimal fuss. I lent the puller to a friend for work on a tractor transmission and he too commented on it's effectiveness and utility. A great tool when no other type of puller will work, and this seems to be a pretty well made example to boot!

This puller has a wide range of collet fingers that inserts into the ball bearing grove of the inner and outer bearing races. However, it's limited to a particular series of bearing sizes as shown in the 1st and 2nd pics. The collet puller feature ONLY works on bearing that ARE NOT sealed, unless you removed the sealed from the bearing and replace it with a new bearing. The collet puller WILL NOT work on taper roller bearings. Therefore, this puller will get a 4 rating for that feature. You do have fingers that can be use to pull a bearing as an alternate way. 2 or 3 finger method, however pulling any pilot type bearing will be difficult due to the fingers thickness. Pic 3, Reason I give it 3 for that. Setting up the puller can be intimidating or complete frustration for a beginner DIY. This is due to aligning on keeping things in place while tightening the nuts before you pull the bearing. That could be a 2 rating. As far as the Heavy Duty Case, it ain't in my opinion. My set got rough up during shipment. Most of the parts were out of their restraints and some will not lock in and stay in. There should be some type of heavy foam or something, that keeps the individual parts in place. Rather disappointing to say the least. This puller set does have a lot of 5 rating features, but lacks in certain areas too. I'm going to be neutral on any recommendation as yes or no on this product. I will let the readers decide.

Slightly awkward as nothing is truly centered or even, like most cheapie foreign tools, but this thing PERFORMS! Blown away! This $80 unit beats the pants off our $1000 puller made by a well known bearing manufacturer. Fairly easy to use, once figured out it is a BEAST. Will definitely buy this again!

I used this the other day on a haybine. It worked like a charm. The only complaint I have is the cheap blow molded case. Some of the attachments fall out every time you open it. I would have gladly paid more money for a good case. Product is tough & does what it's meant to do.

The base plate with handle can be used For many applications with the screw bolt It is a strong pull , pulled a gear that would Not come off , but it did .used it as a flange Puller worked great , worked good .

Bought this to pull bearings from a gear case. It won’t work with every bearing. You do have to damage the cage to make room for the extractor part to fit. The chart seemed to be off but it does remove the bearings. Just make sure you know what bearing type you’re changing to/from. The puller is not commercial grade but for the price it works good enough.

A life saver for blind-pressed bearings. The quality was good enough to use a 3/8 milwaukee fuel impact on it. Used to remove steady bearings for a corolla c59 transmission. No issues at all.
