Hot off the griddle slathered with grass fed butter and swimming in hot maple syrup with in the company of crispy uncured bacon, its to die for, only after breakfast of course, One caution; DO NOT substitute the artificially flavored glucose that is passed off as maple syrup. Not only is the taste and texture vastly inferior, but it is unhealthy, whereas the natural maple is good for you. Maple is expensive, but so are women and only a fool would give up either. NOTE! This very tasty and healthy meal is a great opportunity to exercise the palate. A Frenchman will tell you to enjoy a sip of wine between bites of your food to restore and invigorate the taste buds in a counterpoint effect.
