Review: Make a test batch before using - I added this to one batch of brick mortar and one batch of silica fume enhanced concrete while repairing a chimney and pouring a new chimney crown. I ended up throwing out the mortar due to poor workability and suffered through the concrete for the same reason. Fair warning, make a test batch before tring to use in the field. That's what I should have done!

I mixed this in with my concrete and it has given more strength to the mix. It seems to be of good quality and the instructions are clear and easy to read. The process of mixing it is super simple. For the price, this is a good value if it’s going to help you strength your projects better and give more durability to them. This functions just like it says on the bottle and should make my project last a lot longer than the last time I did it. Recommended.

**Q: How much of this would i use per 80lbs bag of quickrete 4,000 psi mix? i'm building a shed in oklahoma city.**
A: When adding Akona Liquid Air Entraining Admixture to an 80lb. bag of concrete mix we recommend adding 1/2 cup, which is also 4 fl. oz. Please keep in mind to follow packaged product manufacturer instructions for proper water per bag ratio. Substitute Liquid Air Entraining Admixture in place of “equal
amount” of water to achieve the suggested addition rate per ratio tables. So, if you add 4 ounces of this admixture, add 4 ounces less water to keep the
amount of “liquid per bag” ratio the same.
