Great for small ears, it really works and blocks the sound, comfortable
I have been a loyal buyer of the Alpine SleepDeep earplugs since 2022, and this is my third time purchasing them. While my second purchase was simply because I lost one, this time I bought them because they finally released a Small size! I usually buy the Medium, which runs a bit small anyway, but it was never quite small enough for my ear canals. I also have a tragus piercing in one ear, which normally makes wearing earplugs incredibly uncomfortable. The Medium was the best I had ever tried for that issue—until the Small arrived. They fit perfectly, feel amazingly comfortable, and I am so excited to sleep in them tonight. The package that includes both Medium and Small sizes is absolutely perfect for me. The Medium pair still works well enough that I can take them on trips as my travel backups while keeping the new Small pair safe at home. The noise cancellation is truly amazing; ever since I started using these in 2022, I have slept so much better than I ever did before. They even work wonders during loud camping trips at music festivals. My only real complaint is the discoloration, as mine turned pretty yellow over the months no matter how much I cleaned them, and I wonder if there is a more effective way to wash them. I also wish the price was just a little bit lower, but they are absolutely worth it, especially if you can catch the "get two" promo. I highly recommend them!

Comfortable, sound blocking, stays in place.
These earplugs fit my ears really well and do a great job of blocking out noise at night. I've had other earplugs that work their way out while I sleep, but these stay in place until morning. They're soft and comfortable enough that I forget they're in. If you're looking for something reliable for quieter, uninterrupted sleep, these are a solid choice.

4.25 Stars. Much better than foam. a very good option with a couple caveats
I have never found a foam ear plug that works for me. They are uncomfortable and pop out, especially if like me, you’re a side sleeper. These earplugs are the best I have found. They stay in all night and provide good noise reduction and are more comfortable than other options I’ve tried. However, a few caveats: 1) These plugs provide around 27db of noise reduction. not noise elimination. You will still hear sound through them, just with the volume turned waaaaay down. 2) you have to put them in correctly and you can wear them backwards, which can cause them to pop out. Follow the instructions for a secure fit 3) you can wash them, which is great, but just be aware that they have a service life and wearing every night, will have to be replaced as the material stretches over time and they lose their shape and elasticity. I’ve had this last pair for a year (or maybe a bit more) of constant use. The pulltab stretched and finally broke this morning. 4) it comes with a small case. easy to lose. I threaded mine with a red fabric ribbon like a lanyard, so i can toss it in my bag when i travel and can grab it easily. Not a fan of the case, but it’s small and secure and comes with it. would prefer a better latch mechanism I’d give this 4.25 stars if that were possible. It’s not perfect. But it’s the best I have tried….infinitely better that foam and I think more comfortable than wax. i also have a couple sets of silicon which are ok, but the shape of these and the discreet tabs make them my first choice.

My new, best, friend!
I'm married to a snorer. It hasn't always been this way. It has progressed with age I suppose. I try to fall asleep in our own bed but most nights, I end up in the guest bed which quite frankly, is a dynamite nights sleep. I have tried ALL the other brands of ear plugs from foam, to the putty, to the black ones with the little ring. I even gave my pair of shop headphones a whirl and they didn't work at all! We had a vacation planned where our hotel stay was in one room. Thankfully, there were two, Queen beds. I took my black ear plugs with the little ring. They worked really well however, after three nights of wearing them, my inner ear was in pain. That little black ring is not comfortable for a side sleeper like me. I came home and ordered these ear plugs. I'm not a fan of wearing them nightly, but I wanted to give them a try to see how comfortable they were. After all ... there will be other travel nights in hotel rooms and I wanted to find something comfortable to wear. These fit the bill ... seriously! They do not cancel out 100% of the noise, but they do muffle it enough that I can sleep much more comfortably. Having another bed all to myself helps a lot too. They are easy to insert and take out and they are comfortable ... well as comfortable as an ear plug can be. If you're married to a snorer too ... there is help. These ear plugs are comfortable and effective. You deserve a good nights sleep. Give these a whirl.

Works good for short term use.
I have been using these ear plugs for a couple of months now, and I was very happy with them at first. I have to sleep with ear plugs every night, or I will be waken up at the slightest noise, then be unable to fall back asleep. These were much quicker and easier to get in than the traditional foam plugs I have been using for several years, and they worked just as well if not better at blocking the sound, however after about 2 months of using them they started to hurt my inner ears. Though the material is still soft after wearing these for extended periods, I had to switch back to the foam plugs because I was waking up with bad pain in my ears and jaw that lasted for an hour or so after waking up. I do not believe this is a manufacturing issue or flaw, I just think these are only meant to be worn a certain amount of times. They did work very well, and as long as you put them in so that the "pull tab" is accessible, they are also easy to pull out as well. Mine now seem to be shaped in an oblong rather than oval shape like they were when they were new. And again, I believe these stated that they were good for "hundreds of uses", but at the price point of over $20 ( for a pair of regular size, and also small size included), I think they should last longer than a couple of months. ($20 of foam ear plugs lasts me much longer than 2 months). The material they are made from is very soft and flexible, they are a very good design, and they are super simple to put in. May be a better option for someone that doesn't use them constantly like I do, but for me they didn't last long enough. I do think these would be excellent for someone that only needs to wear them for a few hrs at a time, or only on some nights. For me, wearing them every night seemed to make them uncomfortable in what I believe is a premature period of time.

Best ear plugs ever
I am a lite sleeper but when I started using these ear plugs it all changed and I sleep were well. It did take a couple nights to get use to them. I started wearing them for hours in the evening then the first real night I pulled them out in the middle of the night once, after that I slept the best.

Not for me; got stuck.
Really wanted these to work well. Have been using simple Hearos foam squeeze and insert earplugs daily for sleeping and concerts for over a year, but they recently started getting stuck in my ear. Thought these would be easier to remove because of the small tabs on them. These worked well for 3 nights, but on the 4th day nap, they got stuck in my ears. Maybe I pushed them in too much; maybe I should have used the large size. Once stuck, the tab was not grippable by my stubby fingers, though I eventually did manage to get them out by using a tweezer to pull on the tab.

The best.
Best sleeping early plugs I've used to date. They fit and feel much better than the 3 other kinds ive purchased, they don't block out a ton of sound, but its just enough to help me sleep during the day in an apartment complex, and I can still hear my alarm. There's no pain, just a little pressure from the air that gets trapped, and no added pressure while on my side, and easy to pull out.

Light sleepers solution
I never review things but these, seriously they have been my buy of the year. Absolute best thing for any one with a new born. I hear my baby perfectly when needed and nothing else in between.

Good stuff!
I have been using Alpine ear plugs for a long time. This pack is a great starter pack to figure out what size is most comfortable... (I bought it to introduce someone to these ear plugs)
