Typically the date will be around 18 months from the date sold. Not sure how long it was like this.** A: We occasionally see holes and slashes in the bags; the edges of the metallic bags are pretty sharp! The formula is very stable even when exposed to air as it is extremely dry (bacteria require moisture to grow). We typically reseal any slit bags, and there has never been an issue in the decade-plus we have been selling Fox Valley formulas. His family was killed by a weed eater. He was given to me to care for. He loved this milk. I fed him only twice a day as a momma rabbit would. I didn't over feed him. Offered greens and rabbit food, water from puddles, never fresh water because they won't have it in the wild. Going from fresh water to dirty water would kill him. He needs the organisms in wild water from puddles, creeks, ponds etc. I was able to release him back to the wild. This milk worked great.
