Zombicide Invader

I play this a lot with my board game loving friends and we always have a blast. The models are great, the game is fairly well balanced and there's a lot of scenarios to play through. One of the best things is that the zombies play themselves so you don't need to make one of your group responsible for ruining everyone's night :D! You can buy the Toxic City Mall expansion when you get bored (which won't be for ages!) and there's also plenty of mini packs like 'Zombie Dogs' or 'Companion Dogs' that can be bought and added to the base game. I'd recommend this over the first Zombicide game because it features a special type of Beserk zombies that can only be killed using melee weapons. As you can imagine this adds a whole different dynamic to the game where you have to ensure your survivors are packing one of each weapon type to survive. I appreciate that it costs quite a lot but you really do get a lot of enjoyment out of it, and even if you play through the same scenario a few times, you'll find that every time is completely different. Pick it up today and you won't regret it :D!

This game is great, a big investment perhaps for some but it comes with loads of miniatures and we are still playing through the missions in the book months later. I also invested in the zombicide paints and have really enjoyed learning to paint and bringing the models to life. The game is pretty easy to grasp and is a perfect game to introduce non gamers to as it's completely team orientated. I was a non gamer before this and I've since bought several other sets to add to it. Buy it!

Amazing game, I would definitely advise playing the first zombicide game before you get into the craziness of this one, for starters there are a lot of rules in the original game never mind all the extra ones for this, plus this one is a bit more manic, that's not saying the first instalment isn't crazy and fun, but if you have played the first game this is a must, well worth the money.

Excellent game! any fan of zombies will enjoy thinking about how to get out of some tricky situations. I don't have the original, just the prison game but there isn't a need to have both. I did find however that when we were first playing we would quickly run out of walkers so may purchase more in the future.

Excellent game play!! honestly cannot put this back on the shelf!! More effort could have been made with the plastic the miniatures are made from... difficult to paint but once you get a really thin base coat on they aren't too bad in all fairness but I felt 5 stars given the price was a tad over the top.

There are several expansions for Zombicide like this one. Each expansion contains new survivors and zombies, new campaigns and all of the dice, cards and rules required, plus a new set of street tiles to recreate the new areas. It's very high quality, and the box is packed full of items. The contents can be used in either campaign or skirmish mode, and it's fully compatible and interchangeable with the core game components.

I own the original and the expansion and bought this to extend the game play. Having all three is a little over kill and there's a lot of parts if you try to combine all three. Still a lot of fun. If you don't have any of the boxes yet and are trying to choose between this and the original I recommend this one; it has a extra features and feels a little more balanced.

A fabulous game, easy rules to learn and with enough variety (particularly if you design your own maps) to last a long time. If you happen to like painting figures as well, it's even more fun. :)

too many rules to follow. i thought it would be a fun game for an adult n a kid but turn out it is very complicated game and only for the hardcore fans

Love this game! I originally purchased this during lockdown 2020 and I think we ended up playing this game 10-15 times just during those couple of months. We've also played a bunch of times since then! The replay value for any Zombicide game is brilliant, especially if you're following the scenarios in the book. There were a couple we got stuck on and had to play 2-3 times before we succeeded and even then you can replay with different character selections.

Great addition as well to your zombicide collection. But can also be played as a stand alone game :)
