Very easy to place battery and very easy fill in salt or pepper. It does a great job, great quality. The grind is great.

I DON'T want another electric item that comes with a USB recharger!!! Geeze!! Enough already! I just got this today so if I need to come back to adjust my opinion I will BUT on the first try, I.love.it. Others say they have a "fine grind" but really don't. This one really does dial it down to that very fine level I've been looking for so thank you Gulex for doing what you say and for using batteries rather than a USB charger!!! Update Feb. 2026: After 1.5 years, this is still my very favorite pepper grinder. It actually gives me a "fine grind". Others claim to but the ones I've tried have fallen short. I absolutely love this UNCOMPLICATED, battery operated grinder! NO plugging in to recharge! No nothing. Just a great pepper grinder! Perfect (and to the creators, oh please, do NOT "improve" this!! That ruins everything!! It's perfect!!) Leave it alone. Thank you!

Does its job perfectly and at a great price

I like the way the pepper grinder looks. I chose the color goes well in the kitchen with other appliances that I have asked for the grinder how it works for a simple it has one button and not hard to operate and it grinds the pepper the way I like it.

Love these! Had an electric pepper grinder for a long time that broke. Bought one of these and like how smooth it operates. Also live the light that comes on when using-very useful. Did have a hard time getting the grind small enough. Had to empty it and then set, but now not an issue

I love lots of pepper in soups and this gets exactly that at a wide range of couarseness - batteries seem to last well.
