Extremely Noisy & Faulty โ Very Bad Product
I bought this idli maker set, and it is completely disappointing. While making idlis, the whistle makes such a loud and sharp noise that it literally hurts the ears. It sounds like the whistle is going to burst. This is definitely a faulty and unsafe product. The quality is very poor, and it does not work the way it should. I am writing this review to help other buyers โ please do NOT buy this product. It is a waste of money and also risky to use. ๐๐ป I would like a refund or replacement for this item.

Good Product
It starts the whistling in just 2 minutes. Making it a bit confusing when to switch off the gas knob. Ideally one should keep the gas knob on for 8 mins and then let it cool down for another 5 mins

Broken center stand
The product was good except the center holding stand for the idli plates was sub standard . The lifting knob was received broken .

Tried a few other brands available online here in the UK before buying this. Vinod idli maker seems to be of far better quality than the others. However, the idlis it make are quite small and also the whistle noise is too high if the vessel is fully tightened.

Excellent durable product - a must have!
Excellent idli maker made of solid durable steel making fluffy soft idlis every time. A must have for idli lovers at a reasonable price!!

worst product
I bought this idli maker, and it is completely disappointing. The quality is extremely poor. When I received it, it already looked like it had rust. I tried making idlis, but they didnโt turn out properly at all. Instead of soft idlis, the batter turned into a sticky paste. Even when I used less water, the result was the same no proper shape, just a mushy mixture. The whistle sound is also very loud and concerning while using it. This product is not worth the money at all. Totally useless and a complete waste. I feel cheated after buying this.
