No idea why so many people are complaining about slop with imperial drill bits. This is a metric tool so of course if you use outdated imperial bits in a metric tool it's not going to work as intended. Using metric bits this works flawlessly and the hardened steel guides in the drill guides mean it will last a long time.

My first dowel tool/job. The Dowelmaster works great, just read the instructions and take your time. BTY 8mm is exactly the same as 5/16 SAE. The You Tube videos are helpful, and the narrator Great!

A very useful tool

I just receive my order after 16 days from time shipping notice. I put to use immediately because I was waiting with my project for this Dowel-master. It is very good if you use at your branch or other place where you have easy access but in my project that was not the case. I try to use this in narrow 7 inch space. What was difficult to do the job with this when you almost don't have space for cordless drill. So it is OK but all depend how much space you have to work with.

Great product. Just wish it was english not metric, but I can work with it. Hard to find metric dowels in the U.S.

L'Attrezzo che Fa il Lavoro Sporco Ho deciso di investire in questo calibro di spinatura della Wolfcraft, spinto dalla disperazione più che dalla fiducia, e devo dire: finalmente un attrezzo per non impazzire! Il sistema è semplicemente geniale. È progettato per fare tutto in un'unica operazione: Marcatura: Non devi più impazzire con doppi metri e squadre per segnare i centri. Centratura Automatica: Una volta che la guida è fissata (e lo fa molto bene), ti garantisce che il foro sarà sempre perfettamente perpendicolare e centrato sul bordo del legno. Accoppiamento Perfetto: La cosa più importante è che garantisce il perfetto allineamento tra le due parti da unire. Ho fatto giunzioni a T e angolari a 90 gradi su diversi spessori, e il risultato è sempre stato preciso al decimo di millimetro. Le spine entrano lisce e i pezzi si accoppiano senza quel fastidioso "gioco" o sforzo. 💖 Un Sospirone di Sollievo Per chi crea i propri mobili, la spinatura è la spina dorsale della struttura.
