Mini Daylight SAD Light Personal USE (VAT Exempt) White

I have purchased two of these sad lamps, one for myself and my mum, I love it! My mum has yet to use hers, It definitely lifts my mood, I find it helps with mild headaches too, though I have never read that they do, but it's helped mine, and gives me more energy wish I had purchased one sooner, great product and worth every penny!

Robust, unit. No function problems. Light very bright without hurting your eyes. Diffuse light. I suppose it does make things look better in the depths of our dark winters. So, perhaps that is a positive mood change? Cannot say more than this at the moment. I have not used it long enough to have noticed any other benefits. Good value.

This gives off a pure 'white' light, and is very bright, but not overly harsh. It works a treat, even had to buy my mother one! Gets a little hot, but it's well made and the light fills a room nicely.

This light was a disappointment for me. I read through all the comments and decided to buy it, but I was very upset when I discovered that the light is not bright at all. The consumption is 45W, and I was expecting to have a real brightness covering inside at least a small room. This is not even close. Maybe this was my high expectations, but this lamp is simply as bright as a 5-6W led lamp would be! Maybe even less. I used it during the winter darkness of Denmark for 15-20 consecutive days 30-40cm away from my face, and as explained in the manual, but I felt absolutely no change in my mood or anything. I regret the money I spent for it very much. With the same amount of money, I would buy 3-4 very strong led lamps instead of this one and I would have maybe 20 times more brightness than this would give.

Works well but you cannot get a replacement bulb so once it's gone, you have to bin it.

It's now Day 5 of using my SAD light, and already I have seen a difference! Apart from the expected elevation in mood and energy, I've also found my body clock has reset: I now feel tired at a reasonable time in the evening and actually feel able to get out of bed in the mornings! A combination of these three benefits (mood, energy, sleep) enabled me to write two university essays in the last three days - an unbelievable feat for my usual procrastinating self! If you are thinking about getting a SAD light, I really recommend just going for it. I had been thinking about it for a couple of years and never quite got round to actually purchasing one, but I'm so glad I have now. This lamp is surprisingly lightweight and is perfect for sitting alongside you while you eat breakfast in the mornings. Little tip: Build up slowly, as it is really bright the first few days, and anything longer than 15 minutes gave me a slight headache on day one and day two!

Sadly didn't work but had a good and easy return policy. Might be cheaper to buy tablets!

Swift delivery. Ideal size for your desk/bedside. Very bright. Actually much brighter than i expected. I've used it every morning for 20 minutes this week and i do feel better. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
