Good quality - Installation must be precise though
Very solid design. Not a cheap feeling mount. My biggest issue is installation. When it says cut the piece 1" long, make sure you cut it 1" long. Keep it a straight cut. When it says to place the piece in the bike and measure and mark on the piece to make the first cut, push it down a good bit. Not super forcefully but don't just set it in there. Put some force on it. then mark it. Maybe make the cut 1/16" higher up than that too...and then make sure the cut is flat and smooth. Measure the 1" from there and make sure it's as close to 1" as possible. Make that cut flat and smooth too. This probably doesn't make sense before purchase, so purchase it and then come back here after you have read the instructions. It is a big mount. I have an 04 CBR 600 RR. Works like a charm and much better than anything else on Amazon. I tried others.

Pro-tip - loosen the nyloc nut before installation
Installed on a '12 CBR600RR, with a Samsung G9+ phone + Otter Box case First things first: the included nyloc nut *will* spin the plastic gripper against the tapered rubber plug instead of tightening on the screw. As a result, the whole assembly will spin rather than tighten. The solution to this is to run the screw, by itself, through the nyloc nut about 10 times so that the nut loosens up a bit. The simplest way to do that is with a 4mm Allen driver on a drill, and holding the nyloc nut with an 8mm box wrench. The screw *will* get hot; don't burn yourself. The rubber band retention thing broke on my while I was trying to put it on. So, that was a bummer. OTHER THAN THAT, this is great. I took this on a road trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and my phone didn't budge, even on the 16 miles of rough pavement east of Asheville. The mount on my GoPro snapped from bouncing around (RIP GoPro... :'( ), but my phone stayed put without any problems. And really, that's more important than anything else.

Fits Galaxy S22 great!
Had to return the small one because it sat on the buttons. This large one fits my S22 perfectly. Rubber band snapped on FIRST use, but my phone does not move in this mount. I feel it's important to mention I have an OtterBox Defender series case on my phone, so it's a rubber mount on a rubber case. A con would be that the actual fork mount isn't perfect. The rubber insert they provide needs to be cut to fit, and one side is too small, the other is too big. I had to use the small side and overtighten, and the mount does rotate in the triple tree with little effort. This has not been an issue for me, as it doesn't rotate around while riding. This is in a cbr1000rr 2017-2023.

2009 CBR1000RR Fireblade. PERFECT!
This will take around 30min to install and you will need a razor blade and a 3mm hex. I have a 2009 CBR1000RR and the stem hole is pretty big. The skinny end’s circumference is useless for these bikes and the fat end is too wide which is why you’ll need a razor blade. Use the razor blade to slowly whittle away rubber while keeping a slight angle to the stopper. Eventually you get it skinny enough to slide in with a little resistance. If you make it a little too skinny and it’s just spinning I’m the tube, lightly hand tighten it to expand the rubber just enough so that it’ll grip the inner fork tube when tightening. Really, this isn’t hard to do. Way too many weak complaints on here

2020 GSX-R750 Install
Directions are contrary to Ram sponsored YouTube video. I completely destroyed the rubber stem while tightening it down because it was getting tighter but it was never secure enough to stay in place without my phone moving. Little did I know I overtightened it all the way and it was broke I measured twice each time before cutting and again once I cut the 1” bottom portion. Once this happened I decided to see if anyone else was having these problems by doing a web search. I came across a video on YouTube that was made my Ram and when inserting the stem to get your initial marks for cutting the installer pushed it first then twisted and pushed even further. So the extra 1/4” - 1/2” he continued pushing was probably where my install was lacking. The directions say “Gently insert expansion plug into stem hole and mark approximately 1/8” above the opening.” This is exactly what I did. When I read “gently” I don’t think of forcing it further and twisting while pushing to get it in place. I’ll be looking for another rubber stem piece to reattempt the install and edit my review based on the results.

Does what it is intended for.
The installation was a bit daunting. However, the provided instructions helped a good bit. It requires cutting a rubber spacer to length depending on the diameter of your fork tube. The reason for the 3 stars is , once you get the mount installed, the bracket tends to swivel a bit where the ball mount connects to the rubber spacer. The rubber material is so rigid, that the teeth on the washer does not bite into the material, which prevents the user from being able to tighten it adequately. Overall, it does the job. I don't mind having to readjust my phone after an aggressive turn. Most importantly, the mount firmly holds my phone. I have no fear of it jarring loose and my phone hitting the pavement.

A must have for your motorcycle
Already had a few other mounts on hand, but none would handle the vibrations from my 2009 R6. This one handles the road without so much as a wiggle. This is the go to mounting system for just about anything you need to mount. Pros: Versatile Premium materials Cons: Had to drill into the fork as I have a PitBull Steering Stabilizer installed on my R6. There was no room anywhere else on the fork to attach the mount. This is in no way the fault of Ram. Just a personal choice to have all the goodies I have attached.

The installation instructions need improvment
When installing the first time following the instructions, it didn't work so well. The tapper at the top didn't fit the fork stem. After ignoring the instructions and realizing I needed a rubber washer between the fork stem and the mount, it worked a lot better.

Seller's poor customer service.
Do not recommend the product and the seller. Item does not fit stem of my hayabusa and center piece stays loose (design flaw). Seller does not accept return shipping and charges 50% restocking fee if product has been tested for fitment. What a shame!
