I wanted to start doing yoga, now that my baby is 3 years. I'm now plus size and notice that most of the yoga mats don't keep your feet from touching the ground when doing spread eagle pose. I don't want my feet or hands touching the ground if I go outside to do yoga. This mat is absolutely wonderful. It's nice and spacious. Big enough for my 3 year old to join in for stretching . It's thick enough to be comfortable. It came with 2 elastic bands to keep it together when not in use. I'm definitely going to have to get a yoga strap of some kind to keep it together or a carrying bag. I highly recommend this mat. It didn't cost much and it's made well

This mat isn’t as “squishy” as regular sized yoga mats. It also seems thinner. It works fine unless you really need that squishiness of a yoga mat. With lots of floor work - I put my yoga mat on top of it & it works just fine then. Not sure if it’s big enough for 2 people at the same time - unless they are child - sized. 😉

I get a lot of sun in the AM being in a high rise condo…currently my Christmas tree is blocking it but I love stretching in the sun and the space where I do it is hardwood so this is perfect for the space.
