Are these spools that will fit on a regular sewing machine or are these cones?

they will fit a regular sewing machine. However, one of the spools had the thread coming out of two places in the middle of the top - no way to start using it.

Where does the thread start pulling from?

The thread starts under the bottom orange piece. Gently twist the bottom piece off and you will see the end of the thread.

This thread is very high quality 100% cotton. Low lint & simply one of my favorite threads period for any quilting project. Google it for a more in depth answer.

I am kind of bummed. Received my order today. Ordered three white, and received white, gray, and beige...why?
