I ordered this for my mom so that she wouldn't have to mess with plastic ziplock bags anymore. The color does make it more difficult to notice, particularly with less-than-ideal eyesight. That can be easily remedied with a bright sticker or some colored tape. I personally think it's a bit bulky, but the size doesn't seem to bother my mom. It seems to make it easier to open & close. I just ordered her a second case, so I obviously think it's worth the $10. *UPDATE* This cannula cover is great, but I have noticed a consistent, frustrating flaw. (I solved the problem with the color of the cover blending into EVERYTHING with a bright sticker.) It seems that quite frequently my mom has difficulty ensuring that the cover doesn't close/pinch the tubes on either side of the nasal prongs. This hasn't been a HUGE problem, yet. Although, I do worry that it might eventually damage the tubes. I am fairly certain this wouldn't be as much of an issue if she wasn't using the Salter Style 16SOFT cannulas. The area of the cover that is designed to hold either side of the cannula tubes isn't too small or difficult to use. That's not the problem. It's just that the softer tubes seem to have a habit of popping out of those designated slots. I'm not sure if altering the size of those slots (bigger or smaller) would help. I simply thought this was worth making note of. *I would STILL RECOMMEND this cover to anyone using a nasal cannula & so would my mother. It's easy to clean & does it's job very well.

For a simple device, this is a great idea. I, probably like many, for years would just wrap the cannula around the handle or maybe disconnect it and throw it in my pocket or battery bag, especially in an airport between flights or after landing or sometimes just walking around and not needing the oxygen. The problem was that most of the time, the canula would fall off and hit the floor or fall from my pocket, or out of the bag at inopportune moments. You would end up throwing it away and then pulling out a fresh canula. Sometimes, it would be several canulas/trip. Just looking around and came on this great idea. A simple case, with notches in it, to lay the cannula in and protect the nose piece. Then just close the case and voila, no more throwing out canulas because they landed on a dirty airport floor, or a dirty street etc and then gasd to be cleaned before use. A simple but great idea. I took off 1 star, because it would be better if the notches were a little wider for an easier fit, and also better if there was, a clip to attach it to your belt, bag, oxygen machine etc. Other than that, I would highly recommend this simple device to save a lot of difficulty. As always, that is the truth.

I really like this cannula cover because it doesn't use the actual cannulas to hold them in place and keeps them protected while allowing them to air out. For use at my bedside or easy chair they are fine, but I wish it came with a hanger to use attach to my portable oxygen concentrator, then they would be ideal for me.

Hey these keep that loose cannula clean when not using it.I bought three of them,one for each oxygen concentrator.No more worry about germs.

It does the job; however, it is way too wide and too long. Not big enough to hold entire cannula but too big for just nasal prongs. Also, no way to attach it to anything. Thanks to reviewer who uses rubber coin purses. Just cut off a little bit at the end to widen round hole so that both tubes fit and coin purse works great. Have attached purse to O2 carry bag.

This little oxygen protecting cover is great at keeping my nasal cannula clean when I’m not using it. I use it all the time on my portable oxygen machine. I would highly recommend buying one. Update, I have purchased another protection cover for my Oxygen tank that I use in times my portable needs changing. If I could give this 10 stars I would.
