Good bit of kit

Fantastic. I plugged my CF Express Type B card into my Mac and waited for the pictures to transfer. It took a few seconds where it used to take much longer plugging my camera straight into the computer. This is brilliant.

I've recently moved to using CFExpress cards so needed a new card reader. This works perfectly, and is super fast. It also has the advantage of a build in SD card reader so I can use both my old and new cards.

A little bit pricey but it’s Lexar so in my experience totally reliable so what price do you put on your photos. EXCELLENT

Fast card reader with side by side front facing slots, both work independently and can work concurrently, led activity light for each slot works great. I did find it gets a bit warm under continuous use, above is some tests after before and thermal throttling kicking in on CFexpress Type A Cards with also Sony G series UHS ii card test.

Having just bought a new PC which doesn't have an SD card slot, I wanted to have a single unit that does both SD and CFExpress type B to save having two separate readers. This is a well made card reader from Lexar and the transfer speeds are fast (they also include fast USB-C and USB-A to C cables in the box. There's a rubberised ring on the base of the reader to stop it sliding around the desk whe in use. Only one significant flaw in my opinion, is the mechanism for the cards... most other readers I've used of this type are a push to eject style, but this is a pull to remove. This is very tricky when the reader is on the desk (where you'd expect it to be) as you can't get your fingers underneath the card to remove it, so you end up having to pick the whole unit up to take the cards out. For the price, I would have hoped for something a little better thought through, however overall I'm happy with the performance of the card readers and convenience of having both slots in one unit, with one cable.
