The build quality is excellent and there is plenty of room for cooking. That’s something I was worried about . The advertised 340sq is a true primary amount of grilling space not with an extra top rack like some other brands use. The folding legs are sturdy and once folded the grill is easy to move around. That’s very convenient if I don’t want to cook under my covered area for pool parties etc. Overall glad I took a chance on Rectec vs the Trager’s in the same price range. Specifically the Pro22. This rt340 grill advertised weight is less, but there is a noticeable build quality difference in favor of the Rectec. I believe the difference is the Recte’s tubular legs vs stamped sheet metal. The assembly is very simple. It took me longer to unpack than it did to put it together. For anyone worried about damage in shipping it would take a lot of abuse. The packaging is bomb proof. I did have to contact Rectec’s customer service based on a FedEx screw up. One of my boxes that had all my info correct was delivered to a wrong address.
