Alpine Electronics Dab+ Glass Antenna

This was fairly easy to fit, you need to be confident taking the trim off your A pillar etc. Take your time to measure and decide where you want to fit the aerial first, mark it out with masking tape as a guide. I had a really cheap non amplified aerial before this and the dab signal kept cutting out, with this aerial there's absolutely no cutting out in all the places where it was doing so before. I know it won't be as good as, say, a roof mounted antenna but I'm pleased with it so far. Definitely worthwhile.

It's a dab aerial, signal is pretty good but not as good as a factory one, easy to fit and fairly discreet

I was having an Alpine CarPlay headunit fitted and decided to spend the extra to buy the Alpine aerial rather than the much less expensive versions on Amazon, I can't tell you they don't work as I haven't tried them, all I can say is the Alpine aerial works fine and is very unobtrusive when fitted.

I bought this so it would be compatible with the Alpine radio that I bought at the same time, it didn't work properly because the dab radio kept losing it's signal so I contacted the supplier, I was told that I had fitted it incorrectly so I sent a photo of the instructions and an identical photo of how I had fitted it but never received a reply. I have used Alpine products for many years and I have fitted a dab antenna in our other car for a fraction of the price, the other one works perfectly, I always thought that Alpine products were good quality until now. I am going to buy a better one and throw this away, you don't always get what you pay for.
