Unfortunately, the store I bought it from no longer had them so I was pleased to be able to purchase a replacement here. I like that it is ergonomically designed with grooved and rubber sides, providing excellent fit and grip in the hand. The cool stick insert that you freeze is the gel kind so it lasts much longer than the ones that you fill with water, keeping your drink nice and cool pretty much all day. I use it for work, when out for the day and it was brilliant on holiday recently! It doesn't leak; however you do need to make sure that the spout is all the way down. Since I discovered these bottles, I would never by any other again. yes, its bit pricey but it's well made and as long as you're not daft enough to put it in the dishwasher like I did, should hold its shape and last a while. You can sort of drink without the straw, but it needs to be tipped way up and then it seems to drip a bit - I wouldn't recommend using it without the straw. It leaks a bit when closed without the straw as well. However, the drink does seem to stay colder with the stick in. Good size (828ml), nice design and grip for tiny-handed folk like me. Thanks to the design of the drinking spout, it doesn't seem to leak if knocked over and picked up again and, with that, the lid seals tightly. It sits in my rucksack which gets thrown around and I haven't had a spillage yet. UPDATE: DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER. Mine has been in several times without a problem but, bizarrely, it's come out today about half its size. Quite funny to see.
