Unfortunately it did not work on the vintage refrigerator we were trying to use it on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit for retro fridges *by J***S on September 3, 2023* This gasket was the perfect fit for my 40 year old retro beer fridge! Easy install and has it running like new without the freezer freezing solid. Probably good for another 40 years! 😊 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seem to get pretty hard once it is mounted *by I***N on September 25, 2024* I put this on my 1949 Philco model D893. It was pretty straightforward but I should have bought a gasket with a taller profile. It just does seal & I would have liked a little more compression. The one photo shows the profile of the old gasket compared to the replacement. Also once the gasket gets cold it gets hard. I would have preferred a more supple material. The gaskets on my newer models at my house are magnetic but stay supple when cold. At any rate, the door is now sealed as the old gasket was crumbling and was causing a lot of frost to build up.
