Turtle Beach Stealth Pro Multiplatform Wireless Noise-Cancelling Gaming Headset for PS5, PS4, PC, Mac, Mobile – Swappable Batteries – Black

I’m not sure if the negative reviews are for the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro headset or something else entirely. I didn’t find anything negative that those reviews mentioned to be a issue at all. That’s what makes me feel like those reviews are for other products that Turtle Beach also sells. I almost didn’t buy these because of the handful of negative reviews. What convinced me to give them a try was these were the only headset that had all the features I was looking for so I decided to give them a try because I could always send them back if I didn’t like them. There’s not a lot of reviews or info out there on these because their so new and even though the quick start guide will get you up and running quickly you’ll have to do a little searching on the Turtle Beach website for how to use the Stealth Pro headset features that are available. I download the ISO app onto my iPhone and found it easy to use. Even though I also use these for work directly connected to my PC and I’m literally on the phone for 90% of the work day wearing theses headphones I haven’t used the software that can be downloaded and installed on your Windows or Mac system because I’m able to do everything from the app on my iPhone successfully. As far as manufacturing quality goes these headsets are made with very high quality materials. This is not a cheaply made product. They spent some money on manufacturing a sturdy headset when they put together the Stealth Pro. So far I’ve been using the Stealth Pro headset for gaming, listening to music, and also mainly for work. I like being able to listen to music at a very low level when I’m on a call as well as the mic monitoring feature so that I can hear myself. Although I do think they should increase the volume a little more for mic monitoring so I could hear myself more then what’s currently available at full volume. But with that said the current mic monitoring volume level is something that I can work with but will still be a benefit to increase that volume level for people with a softer sounding voice. This is literally the only negative thing I have to say about this headset. I’ve also found that I can easily wear these for over 8 hours at a time with very little discomfort even though I wear glasses. The ear cup fully covers the entire ear so there’s nothing pressing on your ear that will eventually become uncomfortable. The soft leather pads are very comfortable even with glasses on all day. The battery seems to last a lot longer then what they specify in the manual which is nice. If you can afford making the investment to experience these awesome headphones I would definitely recommend them as I’ve found them to be much better then anything else that’s similar by Bose or Apple. These headphones even put Sony into check. With the Stealth Pro headphones you get a heck of a lot more features as well as a overall much higher quality performing product that’s also very sturdy and not cheaply made. You definitely can’t say that about Bose or Apple that’s for sure.

Great quality

For perspective, I upgraded from a $10 pair of wired knockoff Apple ear buds and got the Stealth Pro for PlayStation. Needless to say, it was quite a step up and I’m happy with my purchase so far. Hopefully these last much longer than 3 months. I only game once or twice a week and I mostly wanted a headset that was wireless and had some active noise cancellation. I was leaning towards these, the Sony ones, or the Steel Series. I’m sure the other two are good choices, but I decided to get these at $199. The dual connection with Bluetooth to my phone and the connector to the PS5 is really nice and is what actually made me decide against the Pulse Elite. The multipurpose connection helped me justify the cost. You also always have a spare battery charged and ready to go. I hope I never play more than 12 hours in a single sitting… so that should be plenty of charge for me. Additional Pros and Positives: 1) They have great sound and customizable EQ settings which I actually really like. I would suggest asking Chat GPT or CoPilot what the best EQ setting is for your game and creating custom sound setting profiles which you can save👌🏼 2) They fit well and feel comfortable to wear. It feels like my head is getting a nice hug and excellent sound put into my brain. I enjoy the ANC and didn’t realize how much noise my fan actually made… it’s not going to block out a child screaming, but I would say it blocks out 25 decibels as advertised. 3) They seem to have a solid wireless connection and have enough settings to get everything sounding just right. I tested the sound and mic settings with a friend. No complaints on either end. The Cons or “eh’s” 1) I’m not really impressed with the App. It seems cheap and low quality. To adjust any settings quickly, you really need the app. It opens slow and there is no profile or account to secure my settings. I feel like every time the app opens up, I have to reselect my custom settings again which just seems like a hassle. It would be nice if it saved better or more consistently. 2) The master volume control seems weird. I haven’t used many other headsets, but spinning the entire right ear muff to adjust the volume doesn’t feel natural in my opinion. A small precise dial is what I would expect. 3) I wouldn’t plan on using many of the buttons on the headset while it’s on your head. It’s not really designed in a way to quickly adjust or access while you’re wearing it (besides the awkward giant spinning volume dial). Sure you can hit the middle button on the right ear muff, but if you already have the app open, you might as well adjust everything there. Overall, these are a solid choice and I’m happy with them. If Turtle Beach spent a little more money on developing the app and if they made accessing the controls on the headset while in use a little easier, I would give this product 5 stars or 10/10… but I still plan on using them and since I’m not a professional gamer, these are things I can live with. I would give these an 8.5/10

Finally something that works on my nintendo switch. If you like playing fortnite, get it. Not many headphones that works with nintendo switch. Used right out of box and connected through usb of switch console. Love the mic too. People tell me that I sound clearer than before. A little pricey but worth it.

Never buying Turtle Beach anything ever again. 350$ pair of headphones and didnt last a year. Mic quit working and customer support would only replace with USED pair of headphones. I refused the dirty headphones and they informed me they knew this model had issues so they built a backup mic into them. It sounds absolutely terrible plus who builds a backup into their product? Those who expect FAILURE

Best Headset/headphones ever long lasting loud like every other turtle beaches and the best part is swappable batteries never have to charge my headset again! Very expensive but got it on sale on Amazon good deal thanks Amazon

I really like these headsets but unfortunately one side of the headset gave out, the headset still works but doesn't sit properly or comfortably anymore. For a headset that is pricey like this one it should last a couple of years but this one failed at 10 months, I keep them well taken care of too. Where it broke is just from putting the headset one and taking off. Other than that I loved this headset, the battery life is amazing and being able to swap batteries out is very convenient. They sound great and are loud and clear. I use an external microphone and do recommend it because they're better then any headset microphone so because of that I can't give a review for the microphone that comes with it but its easy to tlremove the microphone. Not sure if I'd buy these again but I did like them when they weren't broken.

the directional sound that you get on FPS games is awesome. the mic is not the best but I bought them for the in ear audio sound and not how players can hear me. overall, a great buy.

Added the gel cooled ear cups and as a person who wears glasses this is the comfiest headset I’ve ever worn

I had ordered the headset and that had been using it for more than six months and then all of a sudden the batteries when connected to the the transmitter weren't charging no matter what I tired. I contacted Turtle beach and asked for a solution and that they had told me to connect the charging cable directly to the headphone and charge it (which is really pathetic) it worked for a couple of weeks and then the battery died and wasn't charging whatsoever. I tried to charge using different cables but to no vain . The headset wasn't turning on and that it was useless without the battery . I tried to even order a new pair of batteries from my own expense but they told me that they are unable to ship it to middle east . They asked me to contact Geekay (their so called dealers ) for further assistance and warranty but they haven't even bothered to email me back . I even wanted to buy the batteries buy they didn't have them . The headset is really good but the flaws were just too much that you'll eventually regret buying them. I even had a video especially made for this headset to express how much I had loved then but unfortunately because of the transmitter and the battery I'd never recommend it to anyone staying outside of the USA. THE dealership here in the middle east is just for name sake and that if something happens you won't even be able to get the accessories or get it fixed. Really appreciate Amazon for solving my issue . I went through alot of reviews and that the major and most common issue with the headset was the battery and the transmitter . Therefore kindly reconsider before getting it.
