Strong, tough, and incredibly practical
This thing solved a whole bunch of issues I knew I had and even more I didnt know i had. It just makes docking at the ramp SO easy. Good for pulling ropes out of the water if the ski handle is floating around and I want to keep it clear of the prop. Surprisingly feels VERY strong. I can push off with it and pull myself to the dock with it without all the old drama. I have a 19 foot ski boat, so a big 8 foot stick seemed like overkill, 3 feet seems almost too short, but Im not sure I would have wanted an 8 foot one because it'd be too big to fit in my gunwale pockets. But either way, highly recommend. It's a very strong, robust, extremely useful tool.

Highly recommend
As a lot of times we drop stuff out of our boat or we need to pick stuff up out of the water on our boat. This product really works good for picking picking up stuff out of the water without getting in the water.

2nd extension locked open, and would not go back down. Very good customer service!!1
Pole broke within 1 month of getting it. The 2nd extension locked in the extended position. Contacted the seller and received excellent customer service... They remedied the situation immediately and sent out a replacement. Pole appears to be of solid construction. Not sure why this one section locked in place.

Seems sturdy but a couple of qualms
Bought as a replacement for our old boat hook whose hook broke off. This one seems sturdier and I like the cams vs the twist-to-lock on the old one. Qualm #1 is the hook screws on to the handle and my similar screw-on deck brush keeps unscrewing from its handle during use. Qualm #2 is the instructions say to store it indoors.
