Maltesers Large Bag 135g

Fell in love with Maltesers in the UK and have imported them occasionally since. Be aware that this product will melt at approximately 80 degrees, so check your weather and order accordingly. Not really fair to blame the vendor in another country when you're experiencing a heat wave. Also note that the last couple of times I have ordered these, two separate vendors sent 121 gram bags and not the 135. Not a big deal, but obviously a problem between them and Amazon on that description. Finally, a lot of people are comparing Maltesers and Whoppers. This is like comparing apples to oranges. Whoppers is a cheap candy. Even buying in the UK Maltesers is easily double the price or more, and you get what you pay for. Whoppers is all about the malt flavor. A large, heavily flavored malt ball with a thin waxy layer of chocolate- which as a plus, is hard to melt. Maltesers has a small, lightly flavored malt ball, surrounded by a much thicker layer of higher quality mild chocolate. So if you don't mind the price, or the wait time (2-3 weeks from UK)- they are worth it, and very, very good.

I'm in the UK... Been fed Cadbury / Mars chocolate since birth...know it's finger living good and so much better than US Choc. This was sent as a pressie to my friend in Baltimore USA. It was very reasonably priced compared to what I pay in a local shop. BUT it's slow to get to US as it ships from back in UK. BUT IM REALLY PLEASED. 5* She LOVED it....the smoothness, richness flavour.... Little balls of honeycomb covered in the best chocolate. BEWARE taste these and you'll be addicted!

One small problem I encountered, but overall this is a great product. Customer service fixed my issue quickly. Very satisfied. So far so good.

This has a much flavorful taste than Whoppers. I'm not sure what pertains to "malty," but it is sweeter and probably even slightly richer and creamier than Whoppers. The malt balls even kind of melt in your mouth, and are much more chewable than Whoppers. Did I forget to mention that I really love Maltesers and would eat a whole bag of these over a few Whoppers, any day?

I had never tried these before until I heard about #dantesers, the ship name for Dan Howell (Danisnotonfire) and Maltesers. I loved whoppers but after I tried one of these, I could never transition back to whoppers, I just cant enjoy whoppers anymore. These are so much lighter and more chocolaty, there's also definitely more flavor in these. I swear, I could use whoppers as chalk. But once you try maltesers, there's no going back.

I love these things. My co-worker is from England and let me try them once and I fell in love. Not only am I not a huge chocolate fan (hurts my teeth), but I also hate whoppers which these closely resemble. If you see these and think ew whoppers, try again. They're AMAZING. They taste nothing like whoppers and the chocolate is so much better than the chocolate we have here.

I loved them. And what is there not to love about these small yummy treats. Wafer balls coated with chocolate, yum yum yum. I ordered a lot of snacks from Amazon as my Christmas present on behalf of my husband. Out of all snacks, this is the one I loved the most. Do give them a try.

First time trying this snack. purchased from WEYTES. The wrong size was sent. ordered a 135g bag but I received 2 (44 g) treat bags. The chocolate just tasted off with a lingering after taste. The filling tasted stale had no crunchyness whatsoever they were like old whoppers/chewy texture. Just threw the rest away not appetizing at all.
