A full 10mb faster than the patriot xt speedboost model I upgraded from. Similar times from a 1.6gb file too that I tested.2) The size is pretty small. It shaved 25% off the length of the patriot xt speedboost model. The cap is held on by friction so make sure to wipe it clean from dust and grime from time to time and it should stay on pretty solidly.3) For around the £20-£30 price range you can't go wrong with this flash drive. I was considering the Kingston DTSE9H for £15.99 until I saw reviews about the horrible sub-5mb write speeds. Also the HPv210w for £20 but thought i'd pay extra for the speed this one provides. I heard good stuff about Supertalent drives but all I checked paled in comparison to Patriot drives size for size and for price ranges.In conclusion it's an absolute fantastic drive for the price. Yes it is more expensive than other drives around the same size but its really worth the extra £££ for the quality and speed/performance it delivers. From the other review about the USB 3.0 performance I can't wait to utilise it when I finally do upgrade to USB 3.0. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Patriot 16BG Supersonic Boost XT *by A***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 August 2012* I received mines not long after i purchased it, as amazon said expected delivery would be a week later so i am very pleased with the speed delivery.First of, this 3.0 USB drive is fantastic. I did my research a while ago before and have to say i was a bit sceptical as i have never head of Patriot. But the more i did research on this product, the more confident i was in towards buying this product. I have to say, it looks so much smaller than you would imagine in the pictures provided above. It is no bigger than your average teenage sized thumb.It's not entirely compact, but the transfer speed on this is excellent. You would expect USB drives with a USB 3.0 with high transfer rate to be slightly bigger than normal USB drives, that i do understand. It has two seperate chips which makes it high transfer rate. I am no expert but i can tell you that this PATIOT is no ordinary USB drive.As for the price, it is very decent and i am not complaining about it what so ever. If you are looking for an replacement for your USB drives, you will not be disappointed with this PATRIOT. I use mines for illustration work and this rugged protection adds an extra star.Buy one, you will not be disappointed. The transfer rates are high, depending if you have USB 3.0 on your laptop, PC, Alienware etc etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Rugged fast USB flash drive *by D***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 January 2014* It's one of the faster performance drives out there and rather small (shorter) compared to Corsairs Voyager USB 3.0 series. Works as expected, it's a bit slower than the Extreme series by Sandisk but feels much more durable. The cap isn't attached like on the Voyager series but the fit is much better so it doesn't come off as easy. Should be noted that my MSI Z77A-GD65's USB 3.0 ports doesn't like this drive (doesn't get recognized), the USB 2.0 ports runs fine though.
