Can't tell you how many times I've had overheated batteries doing interviews with the R8 and R50, but NOT anymore since I switched to this dummy battery. Wish I would have known about them years ago!!!

I could not be more pleased. The adapter runs cool (I had it active in my camera for over three hours and there was no discernible heating). What impressed me the most is the total length of the cable. Here are the measurements: From adapter (the part shaped like a battery) to the end of the first segment of cable measured 36 inches. The fixed cable from the transformer that connects to the above segment measures 48 inches. The figure 8 power end cord that connects the transformer to wall power measures another 48 inches. If you need something longer, you can purchase compatible cords here on Amazon for a reasonable price. I found that I did not need one. Another feature is that you can dispense with wall power and connect this to an external battery pack. The XTPower MP-10000 External Battery Pack with 10000mAh - dual USB 5V + DC 9V / 12V 2A (as one of many examples) will power my camera for hours (over six, in fact), using the 9V. I have been using this ACK-E18 daily since I purchased it and it has proven to be reliable. I am guessing that if it was going to fail, it would have done so by now.

Before purchasing, i asked if this will work with a vmount battery. TKDY responded "This TKDY ACK-E18 AC Power Adapter Dummy battery kit can be installed on V mount Battery." I finally received my item and no it does not plug directly into my vmount battery, actually it has no way of working with my battery. the plug from the dummy battery is too big for my inputs on the battery and my battery adapter. i returned this immediately.

Worked very well and as advertised. I expected the message saying non-oem battery being used but I did not get that on my t6i. Easy installation.

Bought this is a rush to use to livestream a town hall meeting for work. Used a Canon Rebel T7i and it was super easy to use and worked perfectly.

Je fais des formations sur Zoom et j'avais besoin d'une pile rechargable pour ma caméra Canon car avec la pile rechargeable ,après 30 min seulement, je n'avais plus de charge. Avec le chargeur tout va maintenant super bien.

Se siente muy frágil el material, siento que con cualquier caída muere. Sin embargo me ha funcionado siempre, he hecho más de 25 en vivos en youtube, y no me ha dejado morir. Lo tengo desde hace 5, casi 6 meses.
