Beautiful sprouts
Ordered two packs, they all sprouted beautifully! I soaked them in water for 24 hours and gently nicked the seeds as instructed and had no problems.

Highly recommend
These germinated well and grew even though I planted very late in the season. They do require a lot of water. They are great for summer salads in Florida. They enjoy the heat where trying to grow lettuce is nearly impossible. The taste is mild, crunchy, and texture similar to spinach. Highly recommend.

Worth a try, different
These grow very well. My review is more on the quality of the plant. The leaves can be used like spinach, but the stems tend to be very fibrous even though they look juicy when you cut them. I suggest using the stems to flavor broth, as they are too fibrous to eat. Eating them is like trying to eat broccoli stems. I only grew two plants in a single pot, so I never really grew enough to make a nice pot of greens. They do not taste much like spinach, but are an acceptable green. We only ate them cooked, but the leaves are edible raw.

Florida fruendly
Usually I get seeds from local home depot, but they don't carry malabar spinach, so decided to give amazon a try .I did not use whole package because I planted in a pot .All seeds are sprouted and looking great, I'm so looking forward to try something new and friendly to florida summer.

Excellent germination rate
As a casual gardener I don’t need 100 seeds of anything. But getting fewer seeds can be risky if you have poor germination or a mortality event. Thankfully, I’ve had great luck with these seeds. Every one I’ve planted has germinated, and I lost a couple to garden munchers but the others have all become well established in my zone 10B garden. It’s been a stressful summer heat-wise and the spinach plants are flowering already, even some that only have four leaves. They’re beautiful plants with the red stalk and green leaves, and I love the taste raw in a salad. So I’m hoping it’ll self-sow and I’ll have tons of spinach coming my way.

Bad seeds, only 3 sprouted
So I carefully planted these following the exact instructions, had perfect weather etc. A grand total of 3 seeds sprouted. Don’t waste your money on these seeds, I’ve never had such a bad batch of seeds before. Would’ve asked for a refund but the window is closed, so here’s my review.

Seeds weren’t great - like the ones that worked
Unfortunately, after planting half of the packet of seeds, I gave the seeds to a friend. Because I figured I planted so many I would get at least seven or eight plants. I only got two plants. I love about 20 or 30 seeds. Now the plants that I have are pretty and healthy, I just wish the seeds had worked better. I probably wouldn’t of given them away if I knew I would have such a few plants.

Great addition to my garden
It’s growing like crazy. I was worried we were too hot in Texas, but I have it growing on a trellis made from a fence panel & T-Posts & it’s doing great. It is however in the partial shade of trees. Can’t wait to see if it comes back on its own next season.
