Crisp and Beautiful
Pros: UI is lovely. Screen is crisp and clear. Frame is ergonomically perfect for one handed reading. Cons: A bit slower than new Paperwhite in terms of processing speed. After turning page or selecting a option, a bit of text ghosting is there, which goes away after a second or two. Frame is plastic but light and buttons are stiff at the start.

A convenient ereader for side-loading ebooks, is ad-free unlike Kindle
This is my first ereader, and so far I'm enjoying reading on it. I had used a friend's Kindle sometime back, but overall I'm liking my new Kobo ereader better. But this so far has been convenient for side-loading and organizing books into collections and series. I am using calibre for organizing and sending books to this ereader. Doesn't have annoying ads, unlike Kindle. You can buy books and audiobooks from the Kobo store. Of course, if you are going to be buying books from the Kindle store, which is better than the Kobo store, imo with it's extensive ebook collection -- then you're better off with a Kindle. The battery life on the Kindle is also slightly higher, although it doesn't matter much. But for side-loading and organizing, I've found this ereader to be a bit on the better side.

MORE FLEXIBLE E-READER
i own the kindle PW 10 th gen. which is a very good device in itself. I bought Kobo libra 2 a week ago. Rakuten has been a close contestant of amazon in e-reader market since long. But still the major market chunk goes with Amazon. After using the Kobo Libra 2 i found it to be a good device. Positives- clean and crisp screen with a pleasant display to read. Good and well-designed portion to hold it in hands Quickly acting switch buttons. Never failed me till now. USB cable pf the Good quality. Less cluttered front page. One can adjust the lights by just scrolling upwards or downwards. on the screen. no need to open the tool bar Advanced settings with pre and post adjustment panels. The reading stats it provides. Good battery life Negatives- Not looking elegant. They use a cheap material in order to cut the cost. So I didn't fell in love with it at first site. no premium feel after paying the premium price. (It reminded me of Tata Nano, otherwise, a good car). No firm grips. it is difficult to find the earmarks as compared to Kindle. Very feeble browser. In reading settings they couldn't differentiate between reading tips and settings. No Devnagari fonts. No "go to page or location facility like Kindle e-reader. Limited use of open drive in India as there are very few online libraries . The Kobo book store is not well equipped with the Indian languages books.
