Some of the pencils/crayons work well but don't blend well.** A: Yes, these do blend well. They are highly pigmented, creamy watercolor crayons that can be used to intensify standard artist watercolors, used alone, or used wet or dry. I previously bought a more inexpensive brand of watercolor crayons and gave them away after I was introduced to the Neocolor !!. They are very pigmented and creamy to use. They dissolve well when water is applied or are opaque and lay down well if you want to use them without applying water. Creamy and highly pigmented.
