Tail/brake opening too small for bulb and socket. Needed to grind some away to fit.
As noted in the title, the tail/brake light opening was too small for both the bulb and the socket to be inserted. I needed to grind the hole a bit bigger with my Dremel tool to get the bulb and socket to fit. They look fine from the outside but no part should have to be modified out of the box to fit the intended use.
