It is definitely worth the money in the long run and has solar power so no need for batteries. had one originally but the display broke as it was launched into tarmac (dont ask) but otherwise was very durable: It was so good at its job in the ~year I had it and was so useful that I bought a replacement the same day I broke it. Truly the best calculator on the market for GCSEs (and even decent for A levels) + incredible value for money. I recommend trying one out before you buy one as (with any calculator) it takes time to adapt to it and learn everything it can do but it's a great investment and has so many useful modes, levels, tables, etc

I'd already bought a calculator but needed more functions for A level maths. This one was affordable and did everything that was needed. I bought it over a year ago and it has been dropped, used and carried every day to and from school and still works perfectly.

I am a maths teacher and have been for 30 years. This is the most advanced calculator allowed for use in maths GCSEs at this point in time. Always good to check with the exams boards. The price on Amazon was less than I could get it through work discounts. It has a greater number of functions that the 85gt series often used in schools. Quality is good. Display is good for a calculator and the buttons have a quality feel.
