Outside of a watch telling time and telling me at a minimum the date, I don't know much about watches. I have had several over the years and even a Rolex because I thought it was cool to have a very expensive watch. Now in hindsight, an absolute waste of money, the Rolex that is. This unit has an excellent, perfectly aligned bezel that is also snug when rotating. Some have described it as being hard to turn and I disagree. It is not loose at all. Zero wobble. Zero play left or right. It feels smooth when rotating. The crystal is flat but raised a bit. The bezel insert is ceramic and simply looks immaculate. The crown, though I wish were a bit larger, it is HEAVILY guarded by beefy crown guards. The crown is perfectly centered. The underside has been described as being a bit abrasive and I have to agree but I DO NOT feel it affecting my wrist whatsoever. The case is, like the rest of the watch, simply beautiful. Polished on the sides, and where the strap connects, but the top left and right are brushed. Beautiful. It is so far in 5 hours slower by 2 seconds. The lume is stunning. Super bright. Does it last a long time? No. But to me it does not matter because of ALL the other incredible things about the watch. The strap starts out thick at the lugs, but thins out at the ends. It is comfortable, but maybe in time I will get something more substantial, and a strap that does not taper. Once seated on the wrist, the watch barely moves but be aware that it has weight. I personally cannot imagine using this watch with a metal bracelet. For me it would be too heavy. All things considered, for 100 bucks, I am astonished at the quality of this watch. Absolutely amazed at how so much more incredibly expensive it looks, feels, and functions.

Uffff, este reloj es una maravilla. En esta época de relojes smart , este reloj en mi opinión es un excelente accesorio , con mucha fuerza, personalidad y estilo. La iluminación de la pasta luminosa de los números en verde y del bisel en azul es espectacular, no tiene mucha duración como en un Seiko, (siendo el reloj en el cual se inspiró o literalmente copió y que aparece en la película en la muñeca del capitán Willard) su iluminación es muy intensa, incluso en el día se aprecia. Es un reloj chino, pero considero que la relación calidad precio es muy buena, es automático, llevo usándolo varías semanas y estoy muy contento con la compra. El empaque también es muy simpático, una caja de plástico con protectores en hule espuma en el interior. Recomendaría este reloj para personalidades clásicas, diría hasta retro, no creo que sea un reloj juvenil, y si eres fanático de la película y ves el estilo de la película, de los personajes, de los actores, creo que se podrá entender la idea, una imagen vale más que muchas palabras. Recomiendo el producto, tiro seguro si te gustan los relojes

Simplement3 hermoso 💚 sin embargo creo debi pedir la versión con brazalete de acero , tiende a girarce por el peso, el reloj es muy bonito y muy bello al tacto y a la vista, es pesado por el material pero es bastante elegante en comparación con otros modelos y llego en su caja de plástico muy bonito

I have been wearing my Addiesdive Captain Willard wristwatch daily for a little over two months. It is unbelievably accurate which is due to the tested and true Seiko automatic movement. The lume is bright and long lasting. The synthetic sapphire crystal is durable and clear. Additionally, the anti-reflective coating on the crystal is extremely effective. The ceramic bezel insert is hard-wearing while also providing a rich, upmarket appearance. The case itself is solid and features a perfect combination of brushed and polished surfaces. My model came with the rubber strap. It was okay but the watch is better served with the aftermarket tropic style strap which I switched the original out for. The lume on the ceramic bezel is bluish while the lume on the dial is greenish. I like this feature as it provides a clear contrast between the dial and the bezel when in darkness as well as offering a nice complexity to its night time character. However, some may dislike the differing lume colors for being inconsistent. The one and only drawback, at least for me, was the case back. Though it is handsome with its depiction of the diver's mask and crossed spearguns comprising the Addiesdive logo, it is also rough and ever so slightly sharp. The result is a very minute discomfort thar takes a little getting used to. It also has a tendency to remove the hair from your wrist. Overall, this downside is quite minor when considering the high quality of the watch otherwise. Still, it would be nice for the manufacturer to address this detail. In conclusion, this is a fantastic time piece that competes easily with watches far above its modest price tag.
