The specs give 60-105 gram for the paper tray or up to 163 for the individual sheet feed. More info on paper types if you google the product specs.

Can the wifi setup be used with Mac?

Yes, but the Mac has to plugged physically into the computer. With an old version of OS X on one of my computers the Brother driver did not work. Had to download a generic driver from the web.

Neither - envelopes have to be put in after letter printed according to the Computer
