ManCave Survival Gift Set

I've been using the mancave range for a couple of years now, and the survival gift set is now my go to choice for Christmas gifts. When choosing a moisturiser I try to pick natural products (paraben and SLS free), as I've had reactions to other 'leading' brands before, with Mancave I've never had any rashes or flair ups. The caffeine shampoo works great in combination with the hair paste (you only need to use a small amount of each). The shower gel smells great and isn't overpowering, you get an impressive lathering effect. The face wash and scrub work really well together and leave your face smooth and refreshed. The moisturiser doesn't dry too quickly, doesn't leave rashes and doesn't leave dry flakey skin patches around the nose and inbetween the eyebrows (which I've experienced with other brands) Overall, fantastic product, really well presented in sustainable packaging and would definitely recommend as a treat for yourself or as a gift for someone else.

This set looks truly amazing and comes in wonderful branded packaging that makes it ideal as a gift set. I bought it for a friend who already has everything, and I'm glad I've opened his eyes to Man Cave - as is he! I've purchased this for myself previously and it kept me going for several months, I really like all the products inside too which is a bonus. Usually there's 1 or 2 components of a gift set that I could do without or don't really appreciate, however I've found that in the Man Cave Survival Set I love absolutely all of them which is money well spent in my eyes! All smell great and work an absolute treat.

Superb product, clean, masculine and fresh. I used the shower gel first of all, and the lemon really came through, but there was the subtle oak in the background, next I used the face scrub, and it really left me feeling alert and awake. The whole experience made me thing of campers and surfboards, the pale blue box they came in was very smart, almost playful and I think set me up to be impressed by the full sized product bottles. I particularly like the moisturiser as it smelt so good, I felt confident, ready for my day. I love this, and would buy again.

there is nothing inherently wrong with that. It's a gift set. It's job is to look smart, smell good and be priced at a level that you don't mind paying. This meets the mark. Personally, wasn't a fan of the scent of the stuff, and it was received with a middling grunted approval from a tempestuous teen, but hey, it's a gift set.

Great gift idea for the men in your life! (especially if they're stinky, haha!) These products are really lovely for men who like a little extra spoiling! I have purchased these sets a couple of times for my dad who always enjoys them...and my mum recently bought one for my partner who is super impressed with all of the products, he said he thought he was just a one soap kinda guy in the shower until he received this and now he's loving trying all the different products out. He does his hair and it smells delicious!! Comes in nice packaging too which is great for gifting

ManCave Survival Gift Set Bought it as a gift, great set. I also use Mancave products (mainly body wash) and so far pleased with all my purchases. Scents are really nice. Some people made comments about poor packaging but to be honest it wasn't that bad and additionally it landed in the bin seconds after it was handed over.

Don't be foolish, they are afordable as their products are last long and good quality.

This gift set is very well presented and would, therefore, be ideal for a present (probably more so than the similar-priced sets, which only include miniature versions--these are all full sized products). I found the facewash, scrub, moisturiser and shaving balm to be of good practical use (certainly, in my opinion, matching the likes of Nivea and Bulldog for cleansing/moisturising ability) and I’d be happy to buy them again on their own. More disappointing, were the shower and shaving gels, which I doubt I’d buy again. The shower gel felt “weak” when I used it (like the really cheap supermarket branded stuff) and it needed 2-3 passes before I started to feel as clean as I would with 1 pass of Nivea. And the shave gel simply doesn't do it for me (still giving a very "rough ride" through my 24-hour stubble--I'd fly through it with bog standard Gilette gel). Overall the fragrances were pleasing and fairly masculine--without being too in your face. By far the best thing about it is the packaging. It’s very modern and colourful with a clean, pleasing design. It looks and feels far more expensive that it is. So, overall, for everyday use I'd probably only give this 3 stars, but as it's a gift set then it is worth 5 stars.
