Dependable Powerhouse for Daily Use – Reliable, Long-Lasting Performance
This battery has been an absolute workhorse for our gate system. In a high-traffic setting with over 40 open-and-close cycles per day, it has never failed us—not even once. That kind of reliability is hard to come by, especially for something that lives outside and handles constant use. Installation was simple and straightforward, and it’s compatible right out of the box with our Mighty Mule setup. It's clear that this battery was built specifically for the demands of an automatic gate, and it shows in the way it holds a charge and performs consistently. Living in a rural area where dependable access is critical, this battery has become an essential part of our day-to-day routine. No slowdowns, no surprises, just solid power you can count on every single day.

Works great
Bought this battery to power my old (and now discontinued) Mighty Mule MM260. Previously powered it with an old car battery for a few years but it finally kicked the bucket. So far no issues, but we will see how long it'll last. I do like the size and weight as it'll be easy to seal inside a container away from the weather.

Easy install
Old battery was a few years old and was only opening one side of the gate. New battery instantly solved the problem.

This fixed my Mighty Mule gate opener.
This battery fit my Mighty Mule gate opener and fixed my problem of the gates not closing all the way. Easy to pull out the old battery and slide in the new one. My gate openers now function like new.

Didn't even last five months.
Not even five months old (purchase in Aug (battery mfg in July 2025) and the battery died and won't charge. My auto-charger said it's a bad battery. Took it to O'Reilly, they checked it and also said it's a bad battery. I'm in a pinch and had to order a new one, let's hope this one lasts more than five months.

You'll pay a little extra for the Mighty Mule packaging
Got a generic battery with my order. It was the proper specs and works, but not sure it's worth extra for a "Mighty Mule" battery. Complicated by the fact you don't know if it's Amazon's fault, Mighty Mule's fault, Mighty Mule's distributer's fault, or a sneaky customer that returned it. I'll update if the battery explodes and blows up my MM372 setup.

Good product
Good battery replacement to supplement power to gate. It fit exactly into the case next to the other batter. It was easy to install and cost was reasonable.

Great battery
We have had a Mighty Mule gate opener for the 3 1/2 years we have lived here. It has done a fine job for us, until it wouldnt open one day. Initially I thought it was the battery and ordered one from Amazon. Upon arrival I found out it was wiring, but the battery did not go to waste. I installed the two batteries together and they work parralell. It seems to open the gate faster. Our solar panel charger works great for both batteries. This is a fine system and company. I would recommend it.
