Can use in place of beef for pudding

I just made our traditional plum pudding using this product for the first time (in place of beef suet). It seemed to have come out just fine.

Does it contain GMOs?

From BING, "I couldn’t find any information that suggests Atora Vegetable Suet contains GMOs. However, it is made from vegetable fats and contains no animal products12. So you can use it in your vegan recipes without any worries."

Seems to me it is false advertisement...it shows its $14.82 for about 8.5 ounces, which is 1.74per oz. Why is It advertised at 93 cents per oz?

I don't know, I bought mine for $3.36 for 240grams.

IS this suitable for baking cakes. what is the expiration date ?
