Very nice dessert or fruit bowls
These footed dessert dishes match my stemware, so I was very glad to find them. The dishes are heavyweight glass with the classic Godinger design, so they match perfectly. Although they are a bit large for a serving of ice cream alone, they would work very well for cake and ice cream together. I also used them for serving mixed fruit. They look very elegant on the table or displayed with my stemware. The design is very crisp and clean, and these hold up well in the dishwasher. I have been using these for over 2 years with no chips, cracks or breaks. I periodically soak all of my glassware in white vinegar, which keeps them nice and clear with no cloudy soap residue, but that has not been an issue with these.

Pretty and heavy.
I ordered 3 sets (4 per set) 1 bowl was broken when they arrived. Instead of returning for replacement, I ordered another set — so have 17 bowls. 12 with 3 spare or 1 short of 18. They are pretty and heavy. We entertain often so these will be perfect for appetizers or desserts.

Lovely as well as functional!
I bought these as a gift and my brother and his wife loved them. They found them to be a nice size and very beautiful as well.

Initially seemed a good purchase but did not last
These bowls were great to begin with, a classic style in a fairly heavy glass that could withstand daily use and serve a variety of purposes. I found them so sturdy and useful that I bought a second set. Then they started to crack one by one, all in an identical way across the base. And the glass turned cloudy. I did put them in the dishwasher, and I see now they should have been hand-washed, but I didn't see that when I bought them and I would not have bought them if i'd known. Glass should be made of sterner stuff...

I want more ..of them
Wonderful little pack. They are sturdy and have made my go-to list for serving children. They might be more intended for adults, but I have more faith in these ones than my glass ones when it comes to breakage. I really love them and plan on changing all my glasswares to dublin.
