Very good service, very good price, very good Manfrotto tripod.
It is amazing product for advanced DSLR photography. I have got a few DSLR Nikon cameras with a few lenses and all of them fits with this brilliant Manfrotto MT290 tripod perfectly (using separate plates). Highly recommended!

Decent lightweight tripod
Manfrotto make great tripods, this one is pretty lightweight, but stable enough.

Excellent tripod
Excellent well made tripod. It's what you expect from Manfrotto. The carry bag was a nice surprise - I didn't see it came with one until it arrived. It's quite small and portable when in the bag - I could easily take this with me when I travel. I use this with the Manfrotto MHXPRO-2W Fluid Head and it's a fantastic combination. Would definitely recommend.

Light but stable
As you can see from the attached photos the tripod works very well to provide a stable mount for long exposure photos in even the most extreme of climates. There were taken in very windy conditions in Iceland. The tripod is easy to extend and with a good head (worth the additional investment) provides a stable platform. I found it light enough to carry around but heavy enough to secure my camera. The only thing to be aware of is that because of the small number of sections it remains quite long when collapsed.

High quality, heavy weight tripod, it a fairly tall tripod in its smallest configuration but overall very good quality.

It's a very nice tripod, robust and stable and the quality of the materials are of what you would expect from Manfrotto.

Make sure you buy a comparable camera clamp to attach camera.
Very light weight and easy to use, comes with a cotton string bag.

dans un rapport qualité prix honorable, très pratique, solide et bien stable, c'est tout ce qu'on lui demande. Alors évidement ce n'est pas le plus léger, mais on ne peut pas tout avoir, sinon il faudrait du GITZO, ....mais ceci est une autre histoire ;)

Amazon delivery time was good, the tripod might be alright for small point and shoot cameras, it is definitely not strong enough for Medium Format or even full frame DSLR cameras, I have a Manfrotto 190 model tripod that I purchase in 1985 that is much more rigid than this one.

En combinación con el cabezal MVH 500 AH, es un conjunto imbatible; dentro de la categoría de menos de 6kg de caaga soportable. Sólido, fiable y versátil. Sin duda, un trípode de nivel excelente para su precio. El servicio de amazon, como siempre, perfecto... Del todo recomendable.
