Diagnostic Cable Tool Scanner KIT Compatible with Yamaha YDS 1.33 & Suzuki SDS 8.40 Jet Boat/WaveRunner/Outboard

Ordered this for our 2007 Suzuki Df140 and 2006Yamaha F50. Had the F50 Yamaha 4 years, it has 50 hours on it when bought the boat. It now had 254 hours on it. The Suzuki has 3 64 hours on it. Never used a program like this. But even old men like me. Can install it, plus use it without a lot of issues. Allowed me to check the hours and codes on both engines. Plus I can test injectors, coils along the anything else on the engines. Also turn the fuel pump on with it also. Read some reviews that the long cable was not in there box. Mine had it and the other 3 cables with it. So happy and would buy this again without a second though.

I purchased this for a 2019 Suzuki DF200A (220hp). I watched the videos that came preloaded on the software stick and installed the drivers and program exactly the way it said. I then changed the COM port to COM 1 in device manager. I hooked to my engine and turned the key on and got the red light on the cable as though it's ready. Launched the software, went through the prompts, and it would not read anything from the engine. I tried doing the same thing with the engine running in idle. NOTHING. I then uninstalled the software and reinstalled it again. NOTHING. I have tried different connection sequences thinking maybe that was the issue. NOTHING. This is my first ever review and I'm not happy. That was a complete waste of 4 hours of my time and over $50.00. I am open to edit this review if I could get some support.

Just wanted to add a review since I felt like I was rolling the dice when I bought this given other reviews. In my case I received all of the components and had no issue hooking it up to my 2003 Yamaha f115TRLB. Word of advice, when looking for the port option in device manager, make sure the cable is connected to the engine, otherwise it wont show up.

Only buy if all you want to do is read engine hours. Anything else it say lost communication with ecu. Waste of time and money

I followed the instructions exactly and was not able to connect to the motor. I believe the interface cable was bad, as so many other reviewers have reported. I should have believed them. The cable seems to be built well but you can't see what's beneath the surface.
