KROKWOOD Solid Wood Table Tomas - Sturdy and Stable Wooden Dining Table - Mounting Hardware Included (Oak, 70x50x75 cm)

I had originally discounted this table as the photos only seemed to show it in a dark colour, but it kept on cropping up so I decided to take a look, and I'm glad that I did. It is available in 2 shades of wood, Oak and Beech, I chose the Beech which is much lighter than in the photo and matches my dining chair legs perfectly. The table arrived the next day ( even though I do not subscribe to Prime), very well packaged and easy to assemble. There are no sharp edges and the table top is much thicker than some of the others that I looked at, which appeared to be no more than a sheet of plywood stuck on top of the legs. All in all, a sturdy good looking table at a reasonable price.

Was after a small dining table for 2, and this is perfect. Needed it to fit in a corner of the kitchen so we didn’t have to keep moving the table or chairs to get in, and this is the right size for us, and means we can get rid of the heavy bulky one we had. Solid wood quality piece of furniture, probably the easiest thing I’ve ever put together (4 bolts to insert on the legs, and they supply the Alan key), and once assembled feels absolutely solid on the floor. I added some foam protective pads on the feet, just to protect the flooring a bit more. Lovely oak colour which matches our worktop, sideboard and floor. You may find cheaper alternatives made from cheaper materials, but this is worth the money in my opinion. Be wary though, as the size means you will only get 2 at the table, 3 at a tight squeeze, or maybe 4 for playing cards or something, but this is definitely a 2 seater dining table as advertised. Have attached a couple of photos to give you an idea of the size with a couple of placemats on the top, and next to a couple of standard dining chairs.

Good basic table would buy again

Good quality solid beech of good proportions and for this reason value for money. Also easy to assemble and well able to cope with a sewing machine!

De tafel was te klein en er zat een witte waas over de bovenkant, het blad van de tafel. Dus een soort verkleuring.

La mesa es realmente preciosa, el material se ve que es de buena calidad, muy robusta, nada que ver con las mesas de pino que venden en muchas otras tiendas. Fácil de montar, queda genial con cualquier tipo de muebles que tengas. Es una buena compra, a mi entender, y el precio no me parece muy elevado, en comparación con otras mesas de características similares de otros fabricantes. Recomendable.

I purchesed this table for a wooden chest in the kitchen area. This table is strong, well finished and easy to assemble. I returned it as a brand new item to the seller due to a mistake in calculating the matching size for the chest. The seller promptly accepted and processed my request. Très bon rapport qualité prix pour cette table ! Bonne manufacture, hyper simple et rapide à monter, le bois (je l'ai prise en hêtre) est très joli et parfaitement lisse. Livraison plus rapide que prévu. Vraiment satisfaite de mon achat !

Wir haben Monate lang gesucht, um einen passenden kleinen Esstisch für unsere relativ große Eckbank zu finden. Da der Tisch nicht zu mächtig sein und auch nicht überstehen sollte, auch kein Holzimitat, sondern Echtholz und nicht nur die Tischbeine, bin ich glücklich gewesen, diesen Tisch von Krok Wood gefunden zu haben. Klar, er ist nicht ausziehbar und eine Schublade wäre auch toll gewesen, aber dieser Tisch besticht mit seiner Schlichtheit. Er ist 1A Qualität und Verarbeitung und das Beste, mit nur 4 Schrauben (Inbu beiliegend) so schnell und genial zusammengebaut und super stabil, besser geht nicht. Wir haben uns tagelang vor Freude nicht beruhigen können, vor allem auch für den Preis. Jetzt ein Tip zur Pflege, für die, die es nicht besser wissen und es gab ein paar Rezensionen, da wurde bemängelt, dass sich leider schnell Ränder auf dem Tisch bilden würden. Der Tisch ist nur einfach geölt, Naturholz saugt stark auf und sollte daher des Öfteren mit Leinöl oder entsprechendem Möbelöl bearbeitet werden, ABER es gibt estwas viel Besseres und langanhaltenderes und zwar ein Antikwachs von Clou, extra für Möbel, bekommt man bei OBI oder online, 250 g Dose knapp 9 Euro. Es ist ein Bisschen aufwändiger und anstrengender, da man es am Besten mit einem Baumwolltuch oder altes Bettlaken in das Holz einreibt. Da es ein Wachs ist, dadurch etwas fester , schön mit Druck, erst in die Faserrichtung und ich machs auch quer und zum Schluss noch mal gerade. Es fässt sich am Anfang etwas stumpf an, was normal ist, doch das geht nach ein paar Tagen weg, ebenso wie der Geruch nach Bienenwachs. Das Antikwachs versiegelt das Holz richtig und ist nicht glänzend, leicht matt. Ab dem Moment kann weder Kaffee, Tee, Rotwein, Öl, Sojasauce, etc. dem Holz nichts mehr anhaben, man kann es wie auf einer Kunststoffoberfläche wegwischen und muss sichn auch nicht beeilen. Also, es lohnt sich, dieses Antikwachs zu besorgen und einmal im Jahr zu schwitzen, beim Einreiben, denn so oft mache ich es normal. Und noch etwas zur Haltbarkeit, meine Dose ist ungelogen 26 Jahre alt, es gab damals größere davon, es ist noch wie am ersten Tag, jetzt nur fast leer, der Geruch noch der selbe und die Wirksamkeit ebenso. Habe noch nie so ein gutes Produkt gehabt. Also, viel Glück mit dem Tisch.
