In August I bought an orthopedic bed which has a firmness rating of 5 out of 6. Immediately I was waking up with worse lains than ever before. I rang the people that sold me the mattress and they said it takes the body 4 weeks to adjust to a new mattress so I decided to try longer.Anyway, 3 months later and I haven't slept. In agony the minute I go to bed and had started sleeping on the sofa. Rang the company again and they said as it's a comfort thing and not a fault they couldn't help me but suggested a mattress topper.I researched for a good while and finally decided on this one as I REAL and thick memory foam. The difference is literally incredible. I can't believe that I don't wake up aching anymore. If you suffer from a bad back I urge you to try this.Comes rolled up in an airtight plastic bag. Strong smell which is normal and goes after a few days. No cover on the foam but I put a protector and sheet on it anyway. I look forward to going to bed and now go a bit earlier. I researched loads before I bought. This product had only 2 reviews but I went for it as the density of the foam was revealed in product description. Not many do!! Memory foam warehouse also had favorable reviews. I was suffering from lots of pelvis pain due to an injury and since sleeping on this my pain upon waking has been dramatically reduced. I have recommended this product to all my friends and family. I know I have only had this topper for a couple of weeks and of course I do not know if it will retain its memory foam properties but when would you ever know unless you took a chance. My advice. Take a chance, I did and have been so impressed. Yes there is a chemical smell which reduces if you air it first. I probably should have aired mine longer than 4 days as there is still a faint lingering odor which to be fair does not at all bother me as the comfort my topper brings me cancels this out. I think that it will also reduce as time goes on. Even if it doesn't not off putting. Don't often bother to write reviews on here but truly felt I should share my very, very positive experience with perspective buyers. We ordered a Kingsize but the one we received was only 54" wide and only a double. However upon contacting Memory Foam Warehouse we exchanged this one for the correct size and are happy with the quality of the one received. If anything it was better quality foam than the original one received. There is always a smell from the foam but as long as you leave it flat in a room with an open window during the day for a couple of days the smell soon goes.
