Tomie: Complete Deluxe Edition (Junji Ito)

I bought this deluxe hardcover edition of Gyo by Junji Ito as a gift for my husband, and he absolutely loved it! The special edition is beautifully made, and the story is just as creepy and captivating as you'd expect from the author. Highly recommended for fans of horror manga or anyone who enjoys unique and unsettling storytelling.

I’m a huge JUNJI ITO FAN! So this book was amazing. I will not lie, I did keep forgetting to read it for some time, that’s just me being me and forget to read. However, recently I picked it back up and couldn’t stop reading it. Junji’s classic small horror stories were so so good. Tomie is definitely my favourite character that he’s created, she’s so… pretty yet deadly. If you love junji, or want to start somewhere in his collection defo read Tomie!

Arrive in good condition everything is ok nothing to report

I had never heard of Junji Ito until a friend bought me Uzumaki and I couldn't put it down. Immediately after finishing it i bought Tomie and Gyo. The story telling is gripping and the artwork is fantastic. I love the tenacity of the characters to question the bizarre happenings affecting them and people around them, and then investigate for answers, leading them deeper into further mystery and uncovering all kinds of unexpected horrors! I've not read anything like this before but now I'm hooked. I will be buying all of Junji Ito's books and start a collection. The books themselves are beautifully designed and printed, and the stories are extremely re-readable too so definitely worth the money.

Would have given 5 starts but one of the corners of the book was damaged but apart from that a great present (not for me)

This manga had me basically on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it, I never really knew what to expect. Especially with the style that Ito Junji manages to portray within his manga. I've personally read a few other mangas of his and they're absolutely amazing. However it's this one that is probably on par or just below Junji Ito's most famous manga UZUMAKI. I feel that this was a far cry from UZUMAKI in many different ways, however the horror conveyed still is great throughout. Especially with the gross out horror within many different parts of the manga. You may have seen this character within Junji Ito's collection of SHIVER as well. Within the painter story that is within the collection. Anyways, I have had a great time with this manga and its imagery and I highly recommend it to anyone who's into gross out horror. Because the imagery in this is grotesque.

Really good value for money

Awesome book as expected of Junji Ito, it did give me nightmares though

I was really excited to get this manga. Unfortunately the book came in poor condition and I don't know what to do know. Maybe it was damaged before it was even send because I doubt that huge hole in the cover was made during delievery. Nevertheless the package itself was not really secure so maybe some damage comes from the delivery.

Tomie is unlike yet like any horror. Every frame is a work of art and absolutely horrific. I recommend this to any and all manga and horror lovers world wide
