Bought this to put pink Himalayan salt in. We already had another of the same type for black pepper. They are excellent quality, with a good, reliable grind and adjustable settings. Perfect size and this pink version is a lovely soft pink (colour deepens from a pinkish off-white at the top to a pale pink at the bottom). Highly recommended if you're looking for a good quality salt mill.

Well made and has stood the test of time. Nice addition to any kitchen

Wonderful Christmas present for our son in law, who is a brilliant cook. He loves it. Probably the best salt mill you can buy and the price on Amazon is unbeatable.

It's okay. A bit underwhelming on grind output, takes a few more twists than it should. Made in China, not France. If it lasts many years I'll conclude that it was a good quality purchase, but I can't do that about a day after it's arrived and Amazon start pestering for a premature review. It looks nice in black. I have a lot of Le Creuset pans and pots and these a magnificent. I think I've strayed into buying for the label with the grinder and I always think it's tantamount to deception when a company markets it's heritage country and then subs its manufacturing to one that's known for being cheap.

Second time I have ordered this item. Product is excellent so I won’t remove any stars. Unfortunately it came in a plastic bag in a paper bag with no packaging to support it. Usually amazon overcompensate but not in this instance

After pondering for way too long to replace old wooden grinder, I finally decided to purchase this lovely volcanic coloured creuset grinder.I must add I was swayed by the discounted price but not disappointed by the performance. This is used daily and so far after a few weeks I have no complaints.Nice size and nice to handle.

I guess you have to pay for quality and that is what happened here. Yes it is pricey, even at below RRP, but this is a good looking, solid piece of kitchen kit. I had bought the Pepper grinder previously by mistake and couldn't live with putting Salt in it, which is what I intended to use it for in the first place, but it was so nice looking and typical Le Creuset quality that I bought the Salt one, so now have both of them on the table. Was it worth the money, well I was definitely going for both form and function, both of which are excellent, so I gues it was worth it
