For Bass Brothers
- I bought the Audio Array AI-04 mainly for my bass guitars, and I'm very happy with it so far.- I use it with my Sire V3 5-string, Squier Precision Bass and Yamaha TRBX174, and the instrument input works really well for getting a clean bass signal.- The bass sounds clear and punchy without unnecessary noise, and I can hear the low B string of the 5-string properly.- Connecting it to my MacBook was very easy, and it works well for playing music as well as recording bass.- The direct monitoring is particularly useful when playing bass because I can monitor my playing without noticeable latency.- I also connected the AI-04 to my Audio Array UB-02 studio monitors, and the combination works very well for a small home studio.- The UB-02 monitors give the bass a much fuller and more detailed sound compared with ordinary computer speakers, especially in the low and mid frequencies.- They are also great for listening to music, because I can hear the bass guitar, drums and vocals much more clearly.- The 48V phantom power is a useful feature if I decide to add a condenser microphone later.- Build quality of the AI-04 feels solid, and I really like the red finish.- Overall, this has turned out to be a very useful interface for my bass guitar + MacBook + studio monitor setup.- For anyone starting a home studio primarily for bass guitar, I think the AI-04 is worth considering.

Excellent Budget Audio Interface for Beginners
I purchased the Audio Array AI-04 for content creation, voice-over recording, and general audio testing, and I am genuinely impressed with what it offers at this price. The sound quality is clean, the preamps provide decent gain for normal vocals, and the 24-bit/192kHz recording support is a great addition in this budget segment. The Hi-Z input works well with guitars and bass guitars, phantom power supports condenser microphones, and the direct monitoring feature is useful for latency-free monitoring while recording. I also liked the compact metal body and the ability to use it with both computers and smartphones. It may not replace high-end professional interfaces, and extreme gain settings can introduce some hiss, but for beginners, students, podcasters, singers, and content creators, it delivers excellent value for money. Overall, a solid entry-level audio interface that gets the fundamentals right.

Not Compatible with Mac ( Read 1 star reviews b4 buying )
This product has been a huge disappointment for me as a Mac user. I wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviews instead of relying on the inflated 4-star ratings. The audio constantly lags, cuts out, and breaks up. After reading all the glowing reviews, I set it up and started using it for both client and internal calls, only to discover that barely 50โ60% of my voice was getting through. The rest was chopped up, distorted, or missing entirely.I was specifically looking for a plug-and-play audio interface, and based on the product description, this seemed like a good fit. What I didn't realize is that it's clearly not optimized for Mac.I've tested it on my iMac, MacBook, and iPhone, and the experience has been poor across all of them. On the iPhone, it isn't even recognized. I tried everything I could think of: swapping cables, buying a high-quality USB-C to USB-C cable, adjusting audio settings, changing sample rates in Audio MIDI Setup, and even powering it with an external charger. Nothing fixed the issue. While writing this review, I came across other Mac users reporting the same problems, which confirms that I'm not the only one experiencing this.If you're a Mac user, I strongly recommend avoiding this product. It seems to work reasonably well on Windows, but for Mac, it's been nothing but trouble.

Best Value for Money
I've been using this audio interface for recording vocals and music, and the performance is excellent. The sound quality is clean with very low noise, and the preamps provide enough gain for condenser microphones. It's easy to set up, has stable drivers, and the build quality feels premium. Great value for money and highly recommended for singers, musicians, and home studio users.

Definitely recommended for singers, musicians, and home studio creators

A good budget interface for live and recording purpose.
Well i have been using it for live application senerios till now, its been three months and yes i am definitely more of a surprised of interface as a budget friendly its also rigid having a metalic body that encases such input preamp, aas for controls they are easy to use, the box self isolates from hums and can be used as DI in case pf emergency. Noise is preety much compared is clean for recording stuff. As far as connectivity it uses usb c type connection for power as well as connection, it works with linux and windows o/s i have not tested it on macbook yet. Over all i would give 10/10 for the product.

Slim, but powerful.
I like everything about this product so far. I recorded guitar before using a direct output to USB before via a single cord. The sound quality of this product is amazing. I'm sure if you're looking for a lot more you can find it in terms of audio interfaces, but for only $50 or so this sounds amazing.I use FL Studios and it was super easy to get this set up on it.5 out of 5 stars, I would definitely recommend buying this product if you're looking for an easy, slim, and inexpensive way to record guitars, and vocals.

Better than I expected
This is very similar to a Focusrite Scarlett. It sounds great with good control over what you are doing. It has no problem driving some Audiotechnica ATH-M50 headsets. Since it has two microphone inputs, it would be nice if it had two headphone jacks, but a simple "Y" cord fixes that.

Stopped working after first use, ZERO support
It worked like a charm when I first got it, now it's completely unresponsive. I get that message everytime I connect it to something if it even gets detected and I know it isn't the wire I'm using because it connects my microphone to various devices with no problems whatsoever. Tried reaching out to support, zero help at ALL. First of all the warranty is a complete scam as the message "You may always contact us directly at 123-456-7890 for faster service." when you submit the form couldn't make that any clearer, but even the number they give on the card is completely fake and can't be reached. I wanted something cheap and quick and while it initially worked, it's bound to fail eventually. DON'T buy this, save your money and get something more worth it please.

Why don't the reviews have a ZERO star option? This thing is garbage!
I bought this hunk in September. I had life happen and didn't get to open it and try it until mid-November. Hardly any instructions to speak of. NO support! When I was able to get it working, somewhat, the unit was so loud with hiss that it was completely unusable! I looked at returning it and I see that my window to return this garbage passed before I even had the opportunity to open it! Total garbage! No support. No real instructionsI'm being too harsh. I CAN use this unit after all. I'll use it to keep the cover on my four-wheeler.Do not buy this!!!!!
