I cannot see the base of this table, can anyone tell me how it stands please. And is it stable in strong winds?

It has holes pre-drilled at a 45 degree angle for you to peg/nail it down into the earth. Something I need to do as strong wind has indeed blown it over.

What type of paint do I need to glam this up a bit please??

Hi I would either use an outdoor paint (weather protection) if you want to use bright colours obviously woodbased or stain it with a mild creosol to protect from winter and all weathers

Could someone tell me the width between the legs?

Hi. External corner to corner is around 55cms. Internal 49cms.

i presume the 53cm is the base width .. as it sure aint the width of the table

Yes it is . The whole thing is well designed but of poor quality wood . It's also unstable . I drilled two of the legs and used steel tentpegs driven into the ground . I also gave it three coats of yacht varnish . For the money it's not a bad buy
