If you think your cat is that much of a hethan when eating, DO NOT BUY THIS. I personally recommend the hard plastic ones made by Cilkus. I had those for my first 2 cats, and they were amazing for the price.HOWEVER. My cat isn't that much of a fat***. Maybe my late cat would've done it, but not this sweet pea lol. So I do love this slow feeder bowl so far. I didn't apparently look through all the photos, so the stickies on the bottom were a nice surprise cause now I can put it on top where it won't fall and the dog won't reach. Obviously you can use it as a lick mat for your dog as well. I ended up taking him to the vet where they did an X-ray. It showed he had an obstruction in his intestine. They rushed him to emergency surgery and what they found the 2 petals he ate weeks ago! Please beware where buying this product… Not only did it almost kill my cat the vet bill is going to be over 3k. What started out as a funny “I can’t believe my cat did this” thing, has turned in to a living nightmare I can’t seem to wake up from.Original Review:So like a good cat mom I noticed Niffler (my cat) inhaling his food and then puking from taking such huge bites. (He wasn’t even chewing the food!) I decided to buy him a slow feeder, I loved how cute this one was with the adorable flowers and thought it could also be used for enrichment since he would have to move the petals to get to the food. I gave it to him yesterday and he was NOT happy. He tried to rip it off the counter out of frustration that he could no longer drink his cat food. Thank god for the little suction cups on the bottom he was unsuccessful at getting it off of the counter. I figured in a few days he’d get the hang of it and all would be fine. I was wrong.
