This works so well
I have a Shure sound system and this works perfectly with it. I am a speaker and used it in a hotel ballroom at a conference. Headset was comfortable and the sound was great. Can’t believe it’s so inexpensive for the quality that it is!

A headset with great sound
This is a tan colored uni-directional condenser headset microphone that can be worn with the boom on the left or right side. The boom can be adjusted to allow for different size people. The headset hooks over the ears; this helps to keep the headset in place. The metal support band has some flex ability and is wrapped in a plastic sheath at the ear hooks, making it very comfortable to wear. The headset is well constructed. It is compatible with any Shure wireless transmitter that has the TA4F connector. I used it with an LX1 body pack and had no issues. It comes in a hard shelled case for storage. A small windscreen is also included. I have found that this may be easily lost, so I don't use it. This headset sounds great and is a very good value for the cost (see video).

A lot of microphone for the money
I got this as a backup for a Shure dynamic headset mic I use for PA announcing and, frankly, I'm amazed. It sounds great! Check out the video. This mic is meant for wireless systems, and has a TA4F connector typical of Shure wireless transmitters. To use it in a wired system, I have a phantom power adapter that takes it to a 3-pin XLR connector, and handles the voltage and circuitry differences between the two types of mics. My testing has been in my home studio, where this mic actually outperforms my Shure - we'll see how it does on a public address system. But it sounds so good that I expect it may become my primary PA mic.

It does well for the type of microphone it is.
This has come in handy for people who need a quick microphone that do not do well with lavaliers, due to either clothing decisions or they are very animated and the lav doesn't stay close enough. The element is a little on the larger side, but for general use and even theater use (in a pinch), it will do alright. Low feedback when gain staged properly since it sits in front of the mouth. The two ear clips hold the microphone in place well and keeps it from sagging or falling off when moving around a lot. It's a decent little mic and worth having a couple for when the pricier mics you might have are not quite right, or you just don't trust the person wearing it!

Excellent value for price
I got this mic to use with my Line 6 XD-V70 wireless system, which is Shure wireless mic compatible. The connector is the rugged 4 pin mini XLR TA4F. This mic plugged in easily and worked like a champ with the Line 6 body pack. The only caveat is to make sure the capsule is facing the correct way under the foam pop filter. If it's backwards, you're talking into the canceling side, making the signal weak, lacking in warmth, and you'll have feedback problems. Just twist 180° and let your ears tell you the right way. From the reviews, it appears some folks didn't understand this key point. Pro's: - Lighweight, easy to adjust and flex - Good sound quality Con's: - Difficult to see which way the capsule should "point". Recommended.
