Does each burner draw 1800w so i can run both burners at the same time and it will be drawing 3600 watts?

The wattage mentioned is the maximum for the burner usage. Each side will have an 18 but, it does not mean you pull 18. It means you pull on what you cook and how long you cook it for. So, it won't really affect the electric bills to buy it based on wattage. It's quick, quiet and cooks wonderfully. I am very fond of the purchase and was ever so glad I bought it. I can use both at the same time with their own individual settings for each dish. I love it. Hope this helps.
