Great little rice cooker. I make my two little dog’s food every day and this is a great tool for preparing nutrient rich ingredients to their lives. Used several times so far, easy to use, easy to clean. I’m satisfied with my purchase. This is the perfect size rice cooker for fresh rice for one person and two dogs. I was using the instant pot cooker and find this is faster, easier and the rice does not stick like it has been with the instant pot.

Funny story! I originally purchased this mini rice cooker in October 2023 because I was traveling and staying in an Airbnb — and I don’t know how to cook rice in a regular pot. 😅 It came in very handy for that trip and for future stays in hotels with full kitchens when I needed to prepare my own meals. It’s compact, easy to pack, and incredibly simple to use. Fast forward to January 2026 — I started having issues using my larger rice cooker for smaller portions. When I made big batches, I’d end up eating all the rice. But when I tried cooking a smaller amount in the larger cooker, the water wouldn’t properly cover the rice, and it would come out hard or slightly burnt. So I pulled this mini rice cooker back out — and it has truly been saving the day and keeping me on track with my meal plan a few times per day. For reference, 1.3 oz of dry jasmine rice cooks up to about 4 oz cooked, which is exactly the portion I need. No waste. No overcooking. No temptation to overeat. Eventually, I’d like to go back to batch cooking and simply scooping out what I need, but for now, this little cooker is doing exactly what I need it to do. If you’re looking for something compact, reliable, and perfect for single servings, this is it. Highly recommend! Just be sure to use a wooden spoon when scooping out your rice to protect the nonstick insert.

My large “instant” cooker stopped working recently and the thought of making rice on the stove, well it’s such a mess…. So I went looking for a rice cooker for just me and I stumbled across this one. I read all the reviews, especially the negative ones and the positive ones far out numbered the bad reviews. So I get this delivered and now I had to wait to make rice for a meal. That was last night. I thoroughly read the instructions, yes they are confusing, but just know that you should. Wash before hand!! Tip: ONLY use ONE of the PROVIDED measuring cup for the rice. I added the rice (it is a pretty good amount too) and then added the water. I like my rice on the tender side so I added enough “extra” water that just went over the 1.5 line in the base. I closed and locked the lid, plugged it in and turned it on. I set my microwave timer to 30 minutes (as recommended in the book) and if it didn’t turn out the fluffiest, not stuck together rice, I was going to be not happy. (ps… rinse the rice first like it says). It turned out amazing. I popped off the (be careful of how hot it is) and there sat a beautiful little pot of white rice. All fluffed up with a fork, now it was time to eat. Yes it was tender, but as with anything new, I’ll need to keep experimenting to find the exact amount of water (to me it needed a bit more). Next time I will add butter and my seasoning to the rice before cooking, giving my side dish the flavor I like. This little compact unit sits quietly on the shelf until I need it again. I didn’t experience one single issue others have raised for this unit. It won’t last forever, but it will give me the most bang for my money right now. If you only want to make 2-3 servings of rice, this is your new best option.

I love my rice cooker - in particular because I can also make perfect quinoa! What a game changer! Millet has also worked well...basically anything that has the same ratio of rice to water...... I am not cooking for a family so the smaller size is not only easier to store but make just enough for a couple of servings (or a little more as it has the capacity). Easy to clean as well. I really don't understand how some people had trouble cleaning it.

Is not very big and it is a plain homely little rice cooker. I wasn't sure about it at first. It is easy to clean with soap, water, and sponge. It cooks the perfect amount of rice for one person and its pretty quick. So I say if it's just one person or cooking for two this is a hot ticket.

so glad i purchased. cooks fast and easy to clean. makes the perfect rice for 2 or 3 people and not messy at all . i have a small area and it is looks great. i purchased white so it blends well with everything.

Though the cooker feels fragile, it does it's job well. Perfect rice, easy to clean and it doesn't take up much space.

Like: Small, compact, very cute! cooking capacity is enough for my 8yo son. Doesnt like: Power cord not comparable to Aust power point and the outer of pot is HOT while cooking. It wont pass a Safety test if it's tested here in Aust. Thanks, Winnie

Good product, easy to use, excellent result.

Small, fast, and convenient, but there's a silicon ring that traps water and debris; it's harder to access to clean, so I pulled it right out. I got it April 2025 and it stopped working January 2026. Let's see if I get a replacement or maybe I'll just buy a different brand. Surprisingly, MacBook offered me a partial refund or a 15% off a new purchase. I said that it's still under warranty so I'm asking for a new unit or a full refund; they gave me a full refund. It was a great short run. I now get a Zojirushi rice cooker.
