I love the finish - it works great. It is very easy to apply. The water beads up and my bike doesn’t get as dirty as it does untreated. It is expensive but I’ve treated 3 bikes and still have lots left.

Works absolutely wonderful. My matte bike would get smudges easily, oily patches…touch it and need to use alcohol to get rid of the get it clean, Once I added the Ceramic Coating no more massive smudges. If I do get smudge it wipes off with towel or water/towel very easily. Really makes a huge difference for matte paint. Definitely recommend.

Silky smooth finish and easy application. You can probably save money by getting more volume in an automotive version. That's an especially good option if you plan on doing multiple bikes. I put it on my matte finish wheels, and it made them a little bit less matte, but that's fine by me.

I figured this was another product that would mildly enhance my life somehow, and cost me money, rather than be a huge, noticeable deal. But, it's actually more than noticeable. Luckily I was in the beginning stages of a bike build, so had the frameset in new state. I alcohol sprayed it down, wiped, and did the application per the youtube videos. You basically wipe on, let it set up for about 2 minutes, then microfiber wipe it, but not to a buff, just to sorta even it out. You leave it "wet" more or less. It flash dries fast, but it's not cured for a day. I let it sit for longer since I wasn't in a rush. Built the frameset up, it's straight up slippery, more than if you just spray waxed a frame before. And, if you splash the frame with road puddles, it repels. I was really shocked. Not sure how long it will last, especially after washing and such, but if it's like a car, it should help for a year or two depending on conditions. I say do it. I'd probably get something not "designed" for bikes, as that seems to add to the price, so maybe you can get more from a car specific product, or if you already have some, you don't need much to do a bike, take a little bit. I did a 56cm frame/fork, and probably used a 1/3 of the bottle. You don't need much, once you see it on the paint, it's on, you can't put more over top of itself, it bonds and that's it. Prep is key though, clean frame, isopropyl alcohol it, microfiber clean, then apply. There's confusion on what to do about how long to let it cure before you wipe it, 2 minutes is a good number. If it's super humid or freezing cold maybe not the best time to do it, but just get a nice day, do it in the shade, 2 minutes is fine. It's a bike, don't complicate it.

I own a Project one Madone. This works perfectly. It does not smear, spot or deform the paint at all. I read a review where the customer contacted Trek and they did not recommend it. All I can say from experience is that it does not affect the paint at all. It works as described and keeps your bike from getting road tar and dirt stuck to the down tube and underside of the bike. Will keep using this as it works.

Great Ceramic Protection Kit. Comes with incredible bike towels, a thumb applicator, cleaner and the coating. Everything works beautifully together and leaves no streaks or evidence of install. Other than water beading off everything. I got a brand new Dogma F with Campagnolo groupset and wheels - and covered it with this kit before I rode it, then waited a week. I have put 1000 miles of road on it. Not so much as a surface scratch or water stain, ever. Great product.

When the box arrived the seal was cut and the box had been obviously been opened since the contents were not in their original positions. Nothing was missing from the box.

I have a black matte Trek bike ( Emonda ) . This product works wonderful and protect the paint without change matte tone . I see the difference when I wash my bike . Buying a second one for my other bike

Bin mit dem Produkt mehr als zufrieden. Die Versiegelung reicht für 3 Fahrräder locker aus. Der Schmutz haftet viel weniger am Fahrrad und das Wasser perlt einfach so ab. Würde es sofort wieder kaufen.

It is easy to apply. It works really well and makes cleaning the bike a lot easier as you can just wipe it down with a wet cloth. It does not affect the appearance of the bike, and it makes me feel a lot safer riding around knowing my bike is protected. It is also not expensive considering how much it will cost if you have a bike shop put it on.

If you're in two minds about this product, I'd say its worth the effort especially with a new bike. Water forms droplets when cleaning, be mindful not to use other washing products on the frame etc as this will wash away the protective properties of the ceramic coating.

I followed all of the instructions to the best of my abilities given I don't own any professional washing equipment. The product seemed to have worked at first- first few rides I can definitely see how the rain drops stay on top of the coating and were very easy to wash off, however, after 5 or so rides the results have diminished and I see a lot of dirt sticking to the bike which doesn't come off just with water as it promises. So my guess is that the coating lasted maybe a few weeks max, now it is still present but a lot more compromised almost to the extent that I barely see a difference from before coating. Luckily I have half of the bottle left so might try to re-apply it again but am disappointed that I need to do that given the promise was to last months if not years with one coat. Given the price, it doesn't live up to the expectations and I would consider a cheaper alternative next time. Also- try not to apply it indoors, the chemical smell is extremely strong and takes a while to air out, your family will really hate you for it and no idea if it might even be potentially dangerous for kids or pets to inhale.
